Kadu Pires & Larissa Thayane Improv Zouk dance at the Brazilian Zouk World Championships 2022

Sunday afternoon at Brazilian Zouk World Championships and what an incredible energy in the room! By this point we are so exhausted from all the work prior and during the weekend!
To run a dance event, and be one of the teachers is another level commitment and stress. Specially when this is the event’s first year, new event concept, new location, new team of volunteers, post 2 years of a world pandemic… I could keep going… 😅
During this demo after our workshop, there was a mixed feeling of relief, happiness and exhaustion. We honestly just wanted to hug and celebrate🥹, but on the other hand we wanted to dance all the stress out of us!!! I think that’s what we did!! 😮‍💨😁
Once again, We are so grateful for all participants who trusted we could make this work and supported us on our first year! We are so lucky our team of instructors and DJs were extra helpful for anything we needed and they made an unforgettable weekend with us!
Shout out to @dariustoronto and @zoukthenorth for working so hard to make sure all competitions ran smoothly! Huge thank you to @florencioevera for being so helpful organising our volunteers and all artists pick up and drop offs, you rock!!!!
