Kafka IS a kaiju now. Remember how his core went out of his body and regrew a new body during the fight? Kafka's "human body" and the Kaiju #8 form are just creations of the core, which contains his mind and the symbiote kaiju's mind.

I assume you're unfamiliar with Shounen stuff because a lot of what you're calling "confusing" or "Death Stranding weird" is pretty basic shounen visualization of themes lmao. Like... Yes, the Kaiju inside of him is trying to 'eat' him from the inside, representing it eating his humanity to try and fully take over. Kaiju No. 8 didn't make a 'clone', he popped his core out of his body and reformed behind Shinomiya while his previous body got destroyed. The visualization of someone floating into the depths of an endless body of water while their consciousness fades is a pretty common trope as well, though you usually see it more in anime openings and endings and stuff (look at Re Zero Opening 2, Naruto Shippuden Opening 8, Delicious in Dungeon Opening 1--)

SNK if the characters weren't complete losers, i love this anime, all the characters are so hopeful, and work well with each other, even the people in charge who want to turn him into weapons are doing it for the good of humanity, it also gives me some Evangelion vibes for some reason, i cant quite say why, is the contrary in tone, yet so similar. My only complain is how THICK the plot armor is for our dudes, like, man, kill someone at least, so we can know there are high stakes and these monsters are actually dangerous, they always get saved in the last second, that get old very fast.

manga did have atleast 1 important Death if you know not to mention Kafkas Power has consequences which we already know in manga

They butchered narumis design in the anime 😂. Manga designs clear ngl but anime is overall better

I noticed that too but decided to still have faith because they crushed it with everyone else, so I’ll give them the benefit of the doubt. He’ll probably look dope once he locks in.
