What I admire about Kaiju No. 8 as a series is that they can make you feel a sense of dread without necessarily sacrificing the lives of characters. For example when No. 9 attacked looking for Captain Isao. Despite only him dying I feel nothing but dread. Normally the more lives saved the better, and a single casualty would be considered a “good” day. Just his death alone felt like the loss of hundreds. In Kaiju No. 8 they often discuss the future of humanity as well as the defense force explaining the importance of training the officers to exceed their past capabilities for example Kikoru seeing her mothers memory while piloting her suit. It makes me think without Kafka it would’ve been checkmate a long time ago. Hell even with Kafka helping he can’t be in two places at once.

In my school school game no 8 took on the Demon Goalius who mind you his body tanked nukes and the fight was equal (Goalius was exhausted from the fight while injured temporarily while No 8 was in the same state and ultimately as a gesture of kindness and respect No 8 gave Goalius his regeneration, while Goalius gave Kafka the ability to perfectly bound with no 8)

I think the manga from here will go into Kafka using more of his monster power in deeper ways now that he has been trained in CQC. The theme so far has shown with the other main characters that kaijus and humans working together allows them to bring out the true potential of their powers together which we saw with no. 10 and the vice commander. Kafka has been demonizing his monster powers in some regard and he has been reluctant to use them due to fear. However I think in the future he will come to understand the kaiju inside of his body and they will use more "monstrous" powers rather than just the punches we have seen

You miss a huge point here, the Isao's estimation of kaiju8 fortitude was underestimated. I've never found what was his estimation which is the juicy part, maybe more than 10.0 on his last form shown in the series.

Me as a Kaiju fan and a hardcore Gfan since I was 6 years old, it’s possible that every Godzilla can lose against Kafka (Kaiju no.8) but he cannot defeat or kill Godzilla ultima’s real form if it goes lore accurate to both Kaiju stories. Because Godzilla ultima it’s immortal and can grow bigger as a solar system so yes everyone can lose against that Godzilla
