Kafka & Tayzzyronth | Is Kafka sick?

A theory video touching on the connections between Kafka and Tazzyronth the Propagation. I'm certain that they're connected and that this will be a plot point in the future story of Honkai: Star Rail.

"The character named Kafka will be transformed into a horrible insect'' seems a little... on the nose. I prefer the metaphorical metamorphosis of her seeking out a personality change personally. Also, I'm quite certain the HI3 Kafka is completely different personality-wise than the galaxy's-most-wanted-supercriminal Kafka. Huh, on that note, since 'Kafka' is clearly the author's surname, I wonder if she has a secret first name yet to be revealed?

As an Aeon lore enthusiast myself I dont know if you cooked or burned the kitchen but I stand curious now because this theory is both insane and also makes a lot of sense. I HAVE read the methamorphosis and yeh you're on point with a lot of things lol. Amazing video ngl, regardless of if people stand with this theory or not, its very nice to see someone so passionate about lore and also cite in game sources other than "trust me bro" which sadly happens with a lot of the Aeon content.

okay hear me out there's a swarm disaster curio that is literally a spider web which is Kafka's symbol. Tayzzyronth looks partially like a spider but one of the things I realised after obsessively sorting out all the swarm disaster lore (after i made this video) was that the swarm bugs were originally people and they had special blood that smelled floral/fruity so there is actually full canon basis for people to turn into bugs it is literally how Tayzzyronth and the swarm came into existence.

one of the other strange things I don't know how to feel about is that Tayzzyronth's humanoid arms have the same number of fingers as the arms in Black Swan's ultimate and her cards, which feature a pinkish-purple haired princess and demons. Kafka was discovered as a devil-hunter which may or may not be the same kind of demonic entities but given that she ruined the Jepella Brotherhood, connected to Ifrit (enemies), I'm inclined to believe it is, in fact, all connected somehow. Don't know how, but I think it is.

@@LalodysLore Lemme help you in one of the parts. (this is me going off of memory since I cant find the source right now ;;)The part in when it says that people started to not know if other people they spoke to were bugs or not and the floral smell its something we saw in argenti's quest. Swarm bugs have pheromones that cause hallucinations so people didnt turn into bugs, people were paranoid because they could be under an illusion. In SD they dont say the humans confused by bugs were an illusion but they do clear that out in Argenti's mission. If you remember where did it say that humans turned into bugs I would like to take a look into it if its not too much issue 👀

But yeh I kinda also believe all of this is connected somehow. I sent this video to my friends who are also heavy lore enthusiast because they all know a lot of things I dont but it is hella nice indeed to see someone put this much effort in the lore. Absolutely adored the video (and the dan heng and blade one, was the first one I saw and it was amazingly done).

@@KuroNoUsagi You're making me pull up swarm disaster again ahaha! It's hard to find everything because it's all presented out of chronological order, but I'll do my best. Sand King: Tayzzyronth is where we get the story of Melchidek and the other inhabitants of Mandalan Island on the planet Elydichna in the system Lepismat of Lapole Major. This island is where the swarm is first born, thanks to the actions of Aha and Ena (the eye) to counter Oroboros. This is speculation based on the ending of this story, but I'm pretty sure that the lonely mother Melchidek is infact the core of the swarm, Tayzzyronth, especially since she took on a motherly role to at least 87 of the babies that were turned into insects and returned to her house before throwing herself into the swarm in the sky. Basically, this island had a mysterious sudden increase in birth rates but all of the babies ended up flying off into the sky and returning as insects, including Mechidek's own toddler - this is why she looks after all of the bugs because she isn't sure which one is her baby (most of this happens in part 5 and 9.) Lepismat is known for it's special bug species that can reproduce and regenerate infinitely, so it's implied that Ena and Aha engaged in some genetic modifications, turning the people into the swarm, but it's unclear if they anticipated Tayzzyronth turning into it's own Aeon, especially since Ena later has to get Qlipoth to separate and contain Tayzzyronth in resin once Oroboros disappears. Regarding the special blood, there's many times where it's subtley mentioned or alluded to. The combat scenes are described as smelling of blood (human) and an alluring smell (insect blood) - Lepismat System: Massacre Saga Part 4 has an obvious example of this. The art depicts colourful blood, too. It's alluded to again in Bounty Hunter: Crimson Cleansing Chronicle Part 4 where it's mentioned that bounty hunters of different paths don't have the same coloured blood. The dead woman's blood is human red and does not smell of oranges, meaning she was not a bug person. Part 5 talks about it again: "Research has shown that the blood of different species of insects is not of the same color." Part 6 talks of the bounty hunters trying to wash their hands of the multicolored blood. There's also The Pinkest Collision which is made from insect remains and is bright pink. There is also the first encounter with Tayzzyronth where it mentions smelling oranges, blood, and tropical fruits, as well as seeing many bugs that are bleeding colourful blood - this does take place in an illusion but enough of the other colourful blood mentions do not for me to believe its not a result of hallucinations, especially when human blood still looks/smells distinctly different amidst the remnants of war. I plan on making a video soon (after the next one finishing up Sanctus Medicus lore and the Sedition of Imbibitor Lunae) where I go into unnecessary detail about the Swarm Disaster lore and summarize everything in chronological order since Hoyo thought it'd be funny if they made everything random.

Kafka wrote a lot more than just metamorphosis xD. I HIGHLY doubt Kafka is transforming into an insect monster xD... now, considering what we learned of her origin... there's a slightly small chance that she MAY be turning into a DEVIL... but even if that's true, I think that's just a 'risk' and won't actually happen. I honestly expect her to fullfill the 'Himeko' roll in Star Rail. She's essentially the character that's most importantly tied to the MC... I expect her, of all the Stelleron Hunters, to eventually become an ally if not a full on passenger of the Express (even if JUST to keep an eye on the trailblazer) and most probably will eventually die to protect them from something in a moment that will be pretty good... (but still frail to recapture the magic of Himeko's final lesson primarily due to all the games past Impact 3rd having WEAK 'mostly silent' protagonists) finally being able to feel 'fear' in the form of concern for the trailblazer.

i doubt she will physically transform into one but there might be symbolic growth of her, but regardless i will love her character, nice theory though, what you say is not impossible but i view as unlikely, i think what is more likely is Kafka might sacrifice herself in someway (probably for the trailblazer) to something like the swarm if it comes back, symbolizing a growth of a character and the trailblazer would be the main source of her growth while still fitting with some themes you mentioned in this video.

Maybe all the Stellaron Hunters do. They all follow Elio (which I just noticed could have some tie to Heliobus... Maybe? Or I'm just reading WAY too much into it) and the guy (maybe cat, maybe Heliobus lol) is all about the proper way of how things should go. Or rather, the only way, given that Terminus was born at the end of time and is gonna die in the dawn of time. So maybe they're all about doing what's best for Terminus? I just thought about this, so it might be REALLY flawed.

Just FYI, Kafka from HI3 *is* Franz Kafka, just in a waifu AU. So Stellaron Hunter: Kafka and Stigmata: Kafka, Loner of Prague are two different entities that don’t exactly have to be related besides a common name. An an existentialist philosophy.
