this show is very good at building momentum and pacing it out perfectly. they don't do useless scene that decreases the intensity for no apparent reason. everything just keeps going up and up, no stretching out high tension moment for too long to fill the duration. we don't even have a second to take our mind off of the storyline.

Kafka in ep4 comedicly commanded the Honju to life and now it kinda makes sense with Kaiju no.10 here, who commands an army of Honju that don't normally work together solely due to his strength (fortitude 9.0). Perfect situation for Kafka to reveal himself though, that was EPIC and him just standing tall through the force of the explosion.
