Well, Kagami is smart but has socialising issues. She didn't have any friends before and never experienced the process of actually socialising by herself. To be sure that she can do her best (the same way she develops her other skills - striving to be the best, as mother teached her) Kagami turns to expanding her knowledge through the sources that are the most available to her - fiction, including books & manga. She can also use internet, as seen in the episode with that Friendship-Game thing, but we know how busy her schedule could be + her mother is very strict, and might've possibly installed some parental control on her phone. So, Kagami might do dumb things in socialising because it's just something so new to her, and all she knows is only from fiction - she just doesn't know any better. Random manga might've been the only book about modern romance in her house, so this all she knows about love. And since she's so confident about herself and the ways she learns, this is why she thought that this advice is the best. Because Kagami always does best. ...Kinda see myself in Kagami ngl

Yes!!!! Kagami is the G.O.A.T of this franchise. (In my personal opinion 😊😅) She has a hard time expressing emotions, and understanding some social cues, but when somthing is going on, she is one of the few to CALL THEM OUT ON IT.
