I'm happy that you're one of the adults that can understand how school pressures youth. I can't believe how much pressure teenagers in Asian cultures have to face while in England I can only cope with so much with my gcse's, coursework, exams every week or almost everyday and have to catch up with work during lunch and schools.

'The Lost One's Weeping' is a song that conveys the pressures of youth, yes, but I think it especially works well to emphasize that students work so hard to satisfy the ideals of society that they don't have enough time to cultivate their own personality. After running into problems revolving around their nonexistent individuality, they find that because of all the pressures and ideals, they have no one to ask about it.
@rui94357 жыл бұрын
Japanese song themes, especially those of Vocaloids, have a very philosophic and open-ended theme, so there's almost an unlimited number of interpretations. But for this song, you were completely spot on!

You got the message just correctly ^^ Basically the main message of the song is that there is so much pressure put on youth in school and we hold such a high standards by the time they graduate college it creates a huge amount of stress and fear not meeting that goal. Akiderest explained it in a video called 5 songs that will change the way you see Vocaloid.

Thank you for reaction to this! I love this song. You reaction to it was good. The song is about youth and how we are expected to grow up and make good grades and be successful in life. In the lyrics it said "Can you read the Kanji on the blackboard yet." Kanji is Japan's writing system and it can be very hard to learn for young kids from what I've heard. It also said sometime about remembering your dreams that you had as a kid. I think a lot of people forget there dreams as they get older. If you want to react to other video's like this, They are called Vocaloid songs, Another suggestion of mine would be Rolling Girl by Hatsune Miku.

The Lost One’s Weeping was written by Neru by the way. Kagemine Rin is the Vocaloid who sang the song. Overall you got the meaning right. The songs revolves around the struggles of school and how bad our school system is. This is especially apparent in Japan where society’s heavily based around staying with the group and not standing out. If you stand out, you’re get bullied for it. If you fall behind at school, you’re shunned for it and considered a failure. Japan’s also heavy on exams. Exams basically determine what schools you go to, and if you can even get a job. Overall this song just portrayed school and the pressure it puts on us perfectly. Great video man, even if it is 4 years old.

If you were wondering, Rin's name is pronounced as "Kag-ah-meen-ay Rin". Also, this is a vocaloid song! Vocaloid is a vocal synthesizer- they're not human, although they have physical appearances (usually anime-styled) and names. However, their voices were originally made from humans :) basically you buy a vocaloid, and you type in lyrics to make them sing. It might be weird, but it can be a good outlet for the producers who make vocaloid songs!! The most popular vocal is Hatsune Miku, and she actually has concerts along with other vocaloids made by Crypton (the company that produced her). There's other vocals in other languages though, such as "Oliver", "SeeU", and "Ruby"!! You should react to a vocaloid concert video sometime, they're pretty different from usual concerts! Sorry if this is long and confusing and full of typos, I'm just a fellow vocaloid fan :^)

Wow!!! Never would I had thought you had reacted to the Vocaloid!! Rin's voices is one of my favorite of the series. Loved this reaction so much!! You should know that Rin is one of the Vocaloid characters of the Vocaloid Synthesized Software program!! There a a million Vocaloid characters out there with different voices (Rin is just one of the many vocaloids out there) Because it is a program basically anyone out there can create a song with their available voices and voice banks. It was originally intended to be used for people who like to compose music but may not have the voice to do so. But now it has grown to be used to express ones creativity and feelings

Never expected a vocaloid reaction~ That's awesome. And you were really on point with your interpretation of the song. :D I hope we can see more Vocaloid reactions in the future, or even reactions to members of the utaite community~ Utaite are Japanese singers who post to the Utattemita category on Nico Nico Douga. Utattemita basically means "tried to sing" and the word "utaite" is derived from that. The utaite community is really closely knit with the Vocaloid community, because a lot of the songs they cover were originally Vocaloid songs! There's a lot of really amazing singers in the utaite community, though, including those known as ryouseirui, which are also known as "trap" singers in English, because they can sound like the opposite sex! c: I'll have to post some utaite recommendations later because I don't have a lot of time at the moment.

I'm really late wow. The song is about a Japanese boy stressed out due to school. He can't keep up with Kanji classes, meaning he can't figure out the homework. He eventually snaps and kills himself. It's quite sad and concerningly relatable, really. Vocaloid is vocal synthesizer software. Most of the voices are Japanese, but some can sing in other languages. Oliver can sing in English, Kagamine Rin and Len can sing in Japanese and English, SeeU is Korean, and there are many more. As for suggestions, I just found your channel so I don't know if you've done this, but I recommend the "Story of Evil" series by Mothy. It consists of "Daughter of Evil," "Servant of Evil," "Regret Message," "Daughter of White," and "Kept Waiting for A Response" I think. Vocaloid concerts or any of GHOST's (another Vocaloid artist) songs are also pretty good when it comes to reactions.
