I almost shed a tear when dabuz beat paseriman and got into top 8. And then he went and got 4th place. I don't think people realize how huge this is for him. He was the gatekeeper of the top level for the longest time. He would always top 8 but had matchups he could never overcome. But he's been in a pretty rough streak recently and with losing his most recent tournament to zomba, it looked like he could never catch a break and it was just getting to him. But he went to tournament about as stacked as genesis, in Japan where top player routinely get upset by local character specialists, and went and beat numerous big names and got this far. I'm really happy for him. You pop off, King.

Spoilers for the set Dabuz has never taken a game off of Sparg0, in all 3 times they've played. Sparg0 might end becoming as much as a roadblock for Dabuz as Leo.

This was an unfortunate way to end it for Dabuz but Cloud really just annihilates anything Rosalina can do. Maybe he should’ve switched to Min Min at least once during this set. Dabuz still played incredible this tournament

This match-up is very tough for Rosalina, you at least have edgeguarding to cheese some early stocks as a win condition but outside of that it's rough. Cloud is too fast and his hitboxes are too chunky for Luma to keep him out effectively. I know his Rosalina was absolutely cooking this weekend, but I think Dabuz should at least have given his Min Min one game.

His Min Min has never beaten Sparg0. He tried it at Low Tide City and LSI and it didn't work.

Yeah, Dabuz doesn't have a main that can really do anything against a good Cloud. I still give him my respect here because of how many full game matches against strong players he had to grind through to get this far - I think he ended up playing the most games out of any Top 8 that placed.

Proto has shown how Min Min beats Cloud but Dabuz always get destroyed with her against Sparg0. It isn't polished enough.

They say he's the gate keeper of the top guys haha . Kinda yea but it doesn't mean hes the worst tho cuz sometimes he can pop off . But basically if u dont beat him then u can't be the players club . The way he plays against them and everyone is just different. Even win he loses a game ,he makes the come back look easy on everyone else .
