Bowser is pretty much the perfect target for it, but it's still great to see the Twitter Sora combos actually being used in a tournament setting. Racking up 40% and kill confirms off disjointed, safe aerials like no one's business. Real potential for this character.

damn I wish I could pull off these IDJ combos they look so cool to watch. Sora won Kagaribi 5 and got top 8 Kagaribi 6 which is pretty good so far imo. Hope more people pick him up and explore the character more

Hero wasn't using grabs or cmd grabs, which usually works bc ppl will try to jump roll or spot dodge and hero throws out moves to punish. But kameme caught on and was just holding shield

Nice to see kameme using some of Sora's optimized combos with the idj's. Almost every other sora I've seen hasn't been doing it. Given that the loops are much easier on heavies and fast fallers but still, just don't see many others doing it. His Sora is looking rly good! He's a great player but I can see his sora has been getting better and better.

Not just that. There's also his Nair ladders that still need to be optimized and I think those are more reliable and better than his Nair Loops

@@RanserSSF4 @RanserSSF4 u mean his platform combos? If so then yea this is another thing that I have yet to see ppl do. But imo it's harder to do those since they are more situational. Tbh his idj combos are actually pretty easy to do once u get the hang of it since they can be started so many different ways. Down throw, landing aerials, dtilt, rising nair 2 which can ofc be done oos. U don't even have to really do nair "loops" (was just saying this more as a general term for his idj combos), but even a single idj nair/fair 2 or up air as combo extender can go a long way since it can confirm into so many different things. Hopefully atleast kameme keeps up with sora. Cause I still don't think we have seen Sora's full potential, and I hope we do see it at some point. As good as kameme is, there is definitely more room for his sora to be optimized.

@@jamo1774 It's not really as situational as you think. Outside of FD, and T&C when the platforms move away, every other stage has platforms where you always have access to it, and even if you don't either because of positioning or your opponent picked FD/T&C you still have your standard IDJ comfirms and BNBs. It's hard for sure, but absolutely worth it for more reliable, consistent confirms.

If you dont IDJ the nair almost perfectly, you'll begin to go higher and higher, so he uses the fair 1 and 2 to drag bowser back down to a comfortable height. fair 1 2 drag down to d tilt is also a true pseudo infinite on heavies and fast fallers

Since Soras Double jump is so slow, it cancels his first, faster jump, and keeps him low to the ground to enable those combos. Kinda like peach float.

Why isn't Kameme punching Hero on most of his grabs? Is there a tournament rule that you can only do it so much or something? He gets like 5-6 grabs each game which would add up to like 30-40 extra damage. Many of his grabs Hero is at pretty high percent too so just sneaking 2-3 in wouldn't risk Hero breaking out. So why not punch him a little?
