Dropped tools and weapons don't de-spawn. I used to have an old stone spear dangling from my ceiling for ages, during one game. 😁 You get oil from oil shale, now, which is the large red rocks in the desert biome. You have to put it into the extractor to get the oil, obviously. For which you need power, of course. As others have mentioned, you missed a tech page that was next to a med kit in the upper floor of the house at 25:12 Electrical parts, plastic and wire are the most valuable items to pick up when looting towns. Any ores you find, in the early game, are also valuable. Drop anything you can find anywhere, like bark, chips, stones, feathers, rope, etc. They're not worth keeping.

Yes this is the first time I’ve ever seen the game. I’ve been Minecraft for 10 years and only found medieval dynasty couple of months ago. You tube suggested your tubes and I say nice one KZbin 🔥👍. Love how you don’t mess about and get good amount of work done within the tube.

when i was thinking income to get to $$. milk was $1 and had to get to $9500. eggs and milk can add up. figured it would give me a head start. however with the new price change I might restart not quite sure. the loom seem to be the last tech i would get on previous versions lol. i'm going to see where i'm at and go from there .. i started this playthrough with new map and i can only play Thurs/fri or Fri/Sat . so now i might rethink if a start a new save . @@Kage848

I feel the Truck is going to be more important with the introduction of the Trader, if you need to sell a lot of milk or Ingots to accumulate enough money to buy the new tech it could take forever using the Quad bike to transport your excess production. You also missed a Tech page propped up against the red first aid case at 25.12 in the video.

The recipes for things like bone shards, you can do 1 or 5 crafts at once (1 bone to 3 shards, or 5 bones to 15 shards) you can not do other counts on anything that was entered into the game with a "bulk recipe" The bulk recipe is simply 5 times the single craft recipe for 5 times the output in one craft. This was done by the developer before he did the more recent things with the book to allow you to select a recipe any then in a single click make as much as you have materials and inventory room for. When last I played, you can only repair metal tools (metal axe, spear, pickaxe) as far as I have ever known, you cannot repair lower tier tools. The advantage of the bone arrows are they don't have the high chance to break compared to stone and they do more damage, which means you don't need to constantly make more. When you have an abundance of bark and no immediate need for it in crafting, bark can be used as another fuel for fires. Since bark and sticks are both stackable, sometimes it is easier to refuel multiple fires that you don't need to fill all the way up from empty with bark chips or sticks. (and you can put them in one at a time or whole stack at once, if you don't want to "waste" a whole piece of firewood topping off a furnace or campfire. But that might be a little micro-managery for some players. Waste not, want not. the medicated bandages are for infected wounds, the regular bandage is for wounds that are bleeding, thus slowly costing hit points until they are bandaged. Two major benefits of the Circular Sawbench A. it doubles the planks per log, B. it has built in log space, so you can stack a bunch of logs in, walk away and come back with its output full, and not have to keep coming back to load individual logs. There's not a major need to mark the buildings you've been through. As soon as you mouse over a loot container it tells you you can "search" (you haven't opened it) it has been "searched" (you opened it but didn't empty it) or it is "empty" (You've already opened it and there's nothing left in it. This quickly tells you if you've been to a building. Unless you're deliberately leaving things in containers in building, that's all the marker you need. Though I've seen players throw a "planned structure" in front of each building, if loot respawns that would get monotonous to clear them when you come back.

One thing the developer needs to do is give a reason to go the towns and loot mid - end game. Maybe once you open a technology the mods for that technology will spawn in the towns?

Personally id have gone with extractors first because iron is the most important thing in the game that and biofuel from pumpkins. The truck is going to be very important this time as getting the tech from trader is expensive as hell and the reason is to make people decide whats faster and easier to get money. looting vs crafting plus the quantity meaning you cant just stuff a cart and be done. I hope it remains expensive as hell as this means truck is useful and towns remain useful in the long run but you might not like that.

You can kill crocodiles with your spear. I recommend using the iron spear and shield. The iron spear takes as much as the bow and arrow.

I think you also need the advanced workbench to craft bone arrows. A lot of things you could make off the bat are now locked behind tech. I think you have to hit towns now much earlier than before.

You don't have to empty the loot containers. I never do and the loot always respawns.

Man's worried about his 'weapons rack'. sure it's a nice QOL but pointless as dropped gear in your territory DO NOT DESPAWN, the actual priority is the 'Drying Rack' that was behind that tech which he should of been more focused on. Also, I hope he learned how to be more observant in the later videos ... because boy did he miss Tech and other vital things in this video.
