The enhanced blades are shown to be straight up Superior than sorcery,infact the strongest kamunabi member is only equal to it, meaning sorcerers will always be bellow enhanced blade wielders.HOWEVER Shiba is the exception.

@@lilbaz5412 well Sojo is a Rokuhiro fanatic so he probably has extensive knowledge beforehand. There's also one other caveat to an EB which is that the wielder heavily relies to it, i.e. their sorcery gets taken away after having the sword, doesn't help that it's a material object and people can steal it from you, case shown when Chihiro has to wield the lower half of cloud gouger as a temporary substitute, otherwise he would be less powerful.

I love how the author is still keeping it under wraps how strong the original Enchanted Blade wielders are. Look at how nasty Uruha and Samura are with just normal katanas. Imagine them with their enchanted blades. Straight up natural disasters. Chichiro probably isn't even close to that level yet.

@@Allons-Y-04 That's probably the main reason why the Hishaku had to make such big plans to get the blades. If they fought the nation directly the Kamunabi would have just called up the old EB wielders and destroyed them. If the Hishaku were stronger then them they could have just attacked the Kamunabi.

I wonder if uruha and samura are operating on straight physical strength or if they are able to amplify their bodies using their spirit energy to move so fast. Its stated that they lose their sorcery but i wonder do they lose the ability to manipulate their spirit energy entirely?

@@evanarmstrong6717 Yeah I am wondering the same. I think they give up just their sorcery technique because the enchanted blades supposedly amplify the user's spirit energy and make it visible. If they have no spirit energy at all then there would be nothing to amplify in the first place. So they probably still have spirit energy so they can do regular spirit energy reinforcement to strengthen their body without using the blade.

Worth noting that Yura seemed to have 3 types of sorcery, plant control, healing (he reattached his arm), and Teleportation (teleported away after the fight). He might have some other trick like copy sorcery or magical doodads that break the rules though. I’ll point out that we’ve seen people individually using variations of healing, teleportation, and plant control in the series so the copy theory might be the case.

In my eyes the healing was a use of his plant sorcery, connecting it with roots or something (like giornos Life creation? Idk loose connection), and the teleportation was a different sorcery entirely (this WAS the arc where they introduced people being able to have multiple sorceries though, so it’s a good theory)

About flame bone we only ever see one arm and know it atleast had a rib cage meaning it's probably some unholy massive flame skeleton when fully manifested with individual sections being able to be used independently now I wonder if the statement of flame bone rivalling an enchanted applies to the complete thing of just the pieces we've seen so far

I doubt it’s just the pieces, all we’ve seen from it is big punch and mid defense. That being said we’ve seen two parts so…. And the sumo guy (I forgot his name lol) said that the user was only getting serious when they used the spine, so, it might be. Damn I added no value 😭
