I think if I could choose any place on the island to have a house, Black Point Road would be the top pick. Mililani would be good too for many practical purposes.

Mahalo for bringing back all my memories of growing up on Oahu. I used to drive down that exact street in the beginning with that house on the circle drive. There's a secret beach access walkway next to that 2 story house with the lime green roof. It's right next to the 2 portable toilets. That house I remember was owned and built by Chris Hemmeter. Not sure who owns it now cause back in late 90s when I used that walkway to the beach it was for sale. This was the only access to my favorite surf spot, black's point.

Beautiful video John as always. I noticed the person in that Nissan Altima ran the stop sign at 35:02. Ironically that is the same crosswalk I nearly got hit from someone doing the same thing a few years ago. I used to walk/jog in this area when I lived in Kaimuki. Aloha! 🤙🏾

Umm, where exactly would you be referring to? Because I can't think of a single country that has neighborhoods as nice as the totality of Kahala and I've been to (and lived) all over Asia (Japan, China, Korea, etc). And I'm specifically referring to spacious roads, proximity to world class beaches, outstanding weather, and very safe while also being completely open to the public.
