Kahless: "I hear your ship is named after a warrior, Captain?" Janus Sym: "Do you know the story of Achilles, Kahless? He was a warrior from Earth's ancient history, he was an indestructible warrior known throughout the world. One day before a great battle, a priestess approached him with two visions of his future. If he went home, he would find a beautiful wife, raise a family, and die peacefully in his bed and forgotten by the world. But if he fought in the coming battle, his fatal weakness would be exposed and he would die, but his name would be made immortal and known throughout time." Kahless: "What did he choose?" Janus Sym: "Do you know the story of Achilles?" Kahless: "Ahahaha! Qapla, Achilles! May we all have the courage to make our names outlast the dust of our bones!"

I really wish Cryptic had had the time to do this sort of inspirational story-driven storytelling for the Klingons (and the one much earlier in the Starfleet storyline) in the earlier years of STO, because BOY were/are non-Starfleet factions barebones. At the same time, I feel like it would have been better to lift the DS9 storyline where Kahless's song came from: make this mission a victory, granted by his death that we can only speculate about. Like Worf said, if you believe in the legend, then there should be no doubt in your mind he went down fighting to the bitter end.
