I didnt buy this product, but once again MCarbo has the best takedown and assembly video on the interwebz. Awesome!

Just received my spring kit and stainless steel striker guide rod and completed install with the help of this video. I have the best trigger pull now on my Kahr CW40. Much needed since this is my edc.

I installed mine in my Kahr PM9 on Tuesday and went to the range on Wednesday. 200 rounds of 4 different ammo brands with ZERO malfunctions of any kind. The lighter smoother trigger helped my accuracy a lot. Looking forward to a shorter trigger pull.

One of the first, quality, compact nines with Glock reliability for hundreds less. I've never had any failiure, of any kind. Just love my cw9 bone stock with at least 1000rds of handloads, I'm getting ready to install a new spring kit. Thanks for making this video.

I installed it but my Kahr cw9 is having light primer strikes now and is nonfunctional. It sucks cause i threw away the factory spring kit.

ALWAYS keep your stock parts.
@mrwayne515811 ай бұрын
@@localgunguy4992 Definitely noted since then. Also I found out later that the gun just needed to be cleaned in order for the light spring to correctly strike the firing pin. Unfortunately this is a liability so I'd definitely keep a stock trigger on small guns for now due to reliability.

@@mrwayne5158I had the same problem, installed it, trigger felt great, went to the range, light primer strikes 👎. Back to factory springs, might try Galloway's spring kit down the road and see if that does what I need it to do.

I carry a K40 but don't feel the weight of the trigger as much because I'm holding a heavier pistol. As long as this doesn't change the smoothness of the trigger I'll look into it someday.
@qqkk55815 жыл бұрын
If the striker spring tension is reduced does that not reduce the force that the striker would strike the cartridge primer?
@bobg16855 жыл бұрын
The thinking is that the OEM is a VERY strong spring with a tension that is overkill, so a spring with slightly less tension will improve the trigger pull while still having plenty of tension to ensure good primer strikes.

Doubtful, little off topic but I know a Crimson trace laser for cm cw9 or cm cw40 fits my cm45, but internally the spring rates will surely be different enough to matter I'm sure.

I have never owned a KAHR. But I do have a beretta Nano, And the similarities are high. I’m gonna have to say that Beretta copied this pistol when they built the nano to an extent. I personally would not change a striker spring on a carry pistol. But I support any American firearms company. Good luck to you.

Just bought this trigger kit. Although I have a newer model ST9, this seemed to fit quite nicely. Install was simple enough, and now the trigger feels phenomenal!! Can't wait to hit steel to test reliability. If this is GO, my kahr will take 1st place in my EDC rotation over Walther PPS m2 and Bersa Thunder.
