Wow! I got my stainless steel striker guide, and finally installed it. Taking the extractor, pins and spring off, was not hard, but geez, It took over an hour, to finally get the back plate off. After wacking the back plate with a plastic hammer, I have in my punch set, it finally came loose enough, to remove. After that, it was relatively easy, to put the extractor parts, and stainless steel striker guide in place, and put the back plate on. Thanks for your detailed video. It helped a lot.😊

I replaced my striker guide with a stainless steel guide and didn’t remove the extractor. I just pushed the pin down with a small punch, pulled off the back plate with my thumb over the pin, spring, striker guide and replaced the striker guide. Then put the back cover on! No problem at all! Thanks for the video!

Definitely one of the better instructional videos that I've seen in quite a while. Great job!!

Installed the SS striker guide and springs in my PM9. What a difference! My trigger required excessive pull and felt like it was on a rubber band garnished with sand. Now it’s lighter and way smoother. 😎

I'm surprised it wasn't stainless from the factory, it's literally the only polymer part on a Kahr besides the magazine base plate, follower and if you have a polymer frame.

Actually there's a little polymer spacer bushing that goes inside the trigger return spring which holds the trigger bar into the socket that pulls on it to fire the gun. On my K40, that polymer spacer failed somehow and gave me a dead trigger when the trigger bar came off the trigger. I replaced it but now that I know what that piece does and how it does it I'm not such a huge fan of that setup.

Will this work for a P9? Do I need a different striker spring guide?
@fsilber3309 ай бұрын
Just curious -- the CW9 is the more affordable analog to the P9 (both have 3.5" barrels). Why does it fit the CW9 but not the P9, TP9 or CT9?

If I was planning to just replace the strike rod using the factory spring , do I even need to remove the extractor, extractor spring and pins or can I just remove the rear plate and just take out the plastic striker rod replace wit the steel one and put back in ...??? Save those extra steps , or do I need to go through those steps to release the factory striker rod ... Just curious

You could if you desire I think right.

I've seen the stainless striker guide by the competition advertised as fitting the same models plus the mk9. Will yours also fit the mk9?
@MCARBO3 жыл бұрын

Do you guys sell that stainless steel trigger pin I see on your Cm9? I’m having issues with my factory trigger pin slightly coming out after shooting.

Why doesn't Kahr use this to begin with? I'll tell you why, because they are cheap. POS pistols
