this looks so much more exciting than the ufc, dont know if its because the ring, no grappling, cleaner striking, better athletes, no laying and praying... im not sure but it looks awesome. im glad ufc signed kai. they need to start giving lower ranked fighters the chance to break into the top 15/10/5 because most divisions seem stagnant. plus once a fighter gets into the top 5 they fight 3 times maybe over a two year span so it is hard to recycle the divisions. i do love ufc though but its certainly gone downhill since being sold to endeavour, the glazing of jones by all media personel was one of the most embarassing things ive ever seen as an mma fan. there was weeks of constant brainwashing that jon is the goat, it felt like ufc had turned into a news station that just repeats the same story over and over. peace out

MMA is pretty big, Rizin has over 40000-50000 attendance events (UFC biggest T-Mobile arena fills 20000). UFC coverage in Japan is super small, Kai as solo fighter is more followed than whole UFC in Japan I think.

Is that when they do events in Saitama and stadiums? Because I know the UFC don't like doing stadiums anymore, but the last stadium they done was Izzy vs. Rob, and that was the highest attended ufc event with about 57,000 in attendance. Rousey vs Holm also had about 56,000.
