The game with the boros token control, what is the point of keeping 4 mana cards on top when you dont have 4 lands?

i noticed that as well, also could have cut down the rabbit token to prevent caretakers talent level 2 from triggering

@@Dakkonblackblade1 Yeah, that was a mistake. Realized it right after I did that. I think subconsciously I saw Enduring Curiosity knowing it’s a good card & shouldn’t waste it. But, can’t cast it if I don’t have the mana. 🤷‍♂️

@@jimbobway5416 I missed that. I’ll have to go back & watch. Honestly, I hate spending a card on 1/1 tokens though. But it depends on the state of the game & the board state. If it was early I probably wouldn’t have cast Cut Down. If it was later & they needed that token as a crucial part of their strategy I’d cast it. Just depends. Good catch though. 😄

@@mtgrogueplayers Its not spending a card on a 1/1 though at that point. Its spending a card to deny them a card (via the draw trigger on caretaker) and kill two 1/1 tokens essentially (as its not just the one you cut down, its the one they don't get from caretaker as theres no target when the ability resolves). Thats an absolutely huge value cut down.
