@@carlosmarcial6144it’s a whole story. It started backkkk when kendrick made control verse (2013) where he called out a bunch of rappers (saying it’s a competition and he coming for the crown) including drake and everyone was cool with it but drake took it toooooo personal. They have been sneak dissing each others since. Last year Drake did a song with Jcole (first person shooter) where they said they are the big 3 (drake cole and kenny). earlier this year kendrick featured on future and metro song like that where he said it ain’t the big 3 it’s just the big me (amongst other things) J cole released a lame ass 7min diss back then apologised a day later and took it down. Drake released push up’s a diss track towards kendrick and few other people (rick ross, metro, the weeknd) and kendrick responded 2 weeks later with this song then a day later released 6:16 in LA as a warning to drake to fall back. Drake replied with family matters and 20min later kendrick replied with Meet the grahams (arguably top 3 disses of all times, argue with your mothers peeps) where he systematically destroyed drakes character and then followed it up with Not like us which is a diss bop a day later and finished him off drake replied with the worse song of the line up the heart part 6 and he waved a white flag then metro rolled the credit on this whole thing by releasing BBL drizzy (the first diss beat by a producer) to let the public dunk on drake too and now we are here. it’s a wrap & kendrick won by a long shot and J cole is probably somewhere basking in the sun leg swinging and thanking god for peace of mind

@@chronopheonix589you don’t even know her. She never wears Black brands from what I see and her hair is always straightened accept when Kendrick wanted a “Black” family photo shoot for one of his albums and suddenly she had obvious weave curls because her hair isn’t that thick which is fine because women, we do add hair all the time but him doing it for that purpose was shadey. She not very white though so much as light skinned. Her mom is biracial, not her. Her dad is Black. And grew up in Compton. If anything she’s not as Black as I would expect in terms of culture when I compare her to someone like the Williams sisters, it’s not about stereotypes but like a connectedness to your people. Still don’t see her being on all the pro Black stuff like Kendrick on her page and he said the darker the berry the sweeter the juice so now he looks like he meant that for men which tends to be the case but that’s ..weird from someone dissing with homophobia. All I’m saying is his life doesn’t match up to what he proclaims and he’s not very evolved for all his misogyny and anti queer sentiment(literally hating a portion of his own people and teaching the next generation to aid in their oppression by hating them too). Also I’m not a drake fan but some of y’all are just antisemites because why were people assuming how she grew up and what she was and wasn’t faking.... but a Jewish mom and Jewish background(that’s not white, Jewish people have their own culture even if they don’t follow the religion, it’s white passing) make him automatically odd one out. Like do I wish he didn’t downplay it so much and try to blend, sure, but he’s not less valid than a light skinned woman when a Black man wants to be with her. And you can’t make Jewish equal white or equate white Americanness to Canadian whiteness. Neither is better but they aren’t the same so just saying white is meaningless.

Difference between J Cole and Drake, who are both mixed, saying the word is because Cole is actually confident in who he is while Drake isn’t. Kendrick came at him like that because he knows how sensitive Drake is when it comes to not feeling Black enough. Being mixed myself, you gotta overcome being self conscious of that and own who you are, but Drake never has and he’s lame for that.
@Decision33320 күн бұрын
Bingo.
@Nothereforit17420 күн бұрын
I wish mixed people would understand being truly yourself is acknowledging you’re not halves. You are both white and Black. You don’t get to come to outside because it’s easier and then want the most divisive things like the n word when we don’t even all say it. Everyone isn’t a rapper with a chip on their shoulder, misogynoir, and homophobia. If you understand you are just as much white as Black then you should understand that’s the very reason we are uncomfortable with you saying it and you’re overstepping when you decide you get to be the ones determining if the word is okay for you to say. You don’t do that with any group. If it’s not yours completely or furthermore you have an identity that oppresses that group, you don’t lead the discussion. You let us do it. That’s how everyone else does it. But Black biracials, perhaps due to white supremacy, few comfortable overstepping boundaries with us. And I’m just not gonna pretend that’s cool. Like to me you saying that is closer to someone white saying it and then I’m gonna be in you like all the things from us to inherit and you want the word we still argue over and you’re half white? Why aren’t y’all worried about our literature, non rap music, food, and whatnot first? That’s too comfortable for me did someone who is still white just as they are Black. It’s the existence of both that puts you in a different space and that’s not a bad thing. Just embrace it and we can embrace you easier if you’re more sincere than that

For y’all to be so homophobic, you talk about penises of other men and sex with them a lot. Jeez. Even Ogs just used to say ridin, which really could mean a couple things, it’s like you have a problem. It’s perverted and a little suspect tbh. And I’m not a drake fan but this diss was lame at its biggest moments and too soft at the others. A lot of hinting and before you just went for it or don’t say anything. Like don’t tell me you have truths about him to scare him. Say it or don’t bring it up and have quips that don’t make think of a third graders about someone being gay and then hating women...over their personal sexual activity(that was some weirdo ish and also men have never defined who a “real” woman is, that’s discourse has been had, women are women, point blank period but he had more smoke for them in that line than drake for most of the song). It’s kind of lame how some of you can’t just make peace with it when someone doesn’t agree with your feelings without them being...that grossness you said. Because I think Drake is a whiny misogynist anyway and don’t appreciate how he plays down his privileged upbringing and borrows from Jamaicans to create a Black identity that’s not his. But Kendrick is not that evolved himself and while he’s had great moments, he always loses it in the way he refers to women and queer people which is just unacceptable with the position he wants to hold. Tupac wasn’t like that. He wasn’t perfect but he at least said respect women. How you gonna invoke him in a song and also disrespect women in the same diss track but regularly in your own music? And we have a lot of queer hip hop artists now that are out, it’s just way too late to still be be using someone having sex with the same sex as an insult. It’s not about anything being off limits either and that crap, but the very idea that people have to buy into ignorance beforehand to find those lines anything but corny and immature. And why are men still talking about plastic surgery like half the women they date in that industry don’t get it courtesy of them but the best thing he can come of with is Drake having abs that are surgically enhanced?....I don’t care. It just felt like he was mad at him but didn’t really know what to say so he started mudslinging and it was ignorant at best or just silly. And you don’t want to hear him say the n word? Me too but a bunch of rappers already covered that and just saying stop at the end didn’t really hit for me. Like old diss tracks felt like there was gonna be a consequence. Nobody cares about “stop.” The most interesting part was probably learning drake asked him for a feature knowing they were fighting but then he took the bite back out by stating when he likes him and he’s still happy to see him successful to pretend he’s spiritual. Like whatever Bro you just wanted about everything you hated about him. Take a stance and sit with it or you’re all corny including j cole for even trying that and then backing out. Even if it wasn’t good, they all look lame now to me.

Why do you want our people to look ignorant like we don’t know different types of masculinity exist all around the world? And why are we still making gay jokes? You realize it looks very dumb to be oppressed and then make fun of other oppressed people like it’s gonna earn you freedom and not just just give cishet white men more permission to oppress all of us....like why do we want to be the group most know for aggressive anti gayness to the point of murder? I’m not proud of y’all for that. It’s one of the things I find most shameful about us and a reason I stopped listening to male rappers. The misogyny and homophobia. You can’t be whining about oppression and then oppress others, some of whom look like you. That’s so ignorant and playing into white supremacy in ways you don’t even understand because you don’t read. You let these frankly lame rappers teach you everything. This wasn’t even a good diss track. His best comments were ish third graders say about somebody liking men....which requires the listener to be ignorant to even care about. Saying drake got work done to look more Black...but Rick Ross just started the rumor that he skimmed his nose to look less Black. He didn’t have anything particularly personal or hard hitting to say because Kendrick isn’t very evolved as a person, oop. And I hate Drake too because he’s a misogynistic jerk himself but they all looked corny here. And then just saying you don’t want to hear someone say the n word again...or what ngga? Tupac would have some flame behind that about what’s gonna happen if he does, not just “stop.” Tf? And I get it, he’s not about that life but then be clever in other ways. It wasn’t there and now y’all are backing him by looking clownish too. So just remember the same people who hate queer people on the other side of politics are also banning books by people of color. You’re not different to them. You’re just harming parts of your own community and covering for some lame flow. And please spare me the feminists comments, I am one but that doesn’t change I was a tolerant person and a critical thinker first, so I was always gonna find this lame, no need to be typical and try to insult me with something I’m not ashamed of because I’m anti oppression for all. I had an assessment and I called out your homophobia. Simple as that

The new ho king line is a reference to Drake getting robbed in 2009 by a Toronto rapper sizzlac who dropped a video called realest in the 6 outside of the restaurant. Drake helped with investigation.

@@HistorianMane this went over the most heads for sure. The restaurant even started booming because of Kendrick’s diss track and shouted him out on the local toronto news station 😭

The back to back line is in reference to Daylyt writing Charged up, Back to Back and Duppy. It connect to "Your best work is a Light (Lyt) pack" There's a drake diss from Daylyt "Lytskin"realeased 5 years ago alluding to him being Drakes Diss ghost writer.
