I think AI Robot getting smart,it’s because we gave them the data knowledge and teach them to be smart they don’t just get smart by themselves, so can’t we gave the AI Robot the difference data knowledges and teach them to crosses domains?. A robot machine will just going to do whatever we want them to do anyway. So I just find it very hard to agree with Dr. Lee who said that AI cannot crosses domains. I think it’s just a matter of giving the machine a combination of data knowledge and the machine will do what we want them to do.

You are the one who sounds creepy. You remind me of people who were scared of cars and preferred horses, or people who thought electricity was the work of the devil. You fear what you do not understand, and you forget that Lee Kaifu was a professor first, a PhD before he became an entrepreneur. Perhaps you should take some courses on computer programming and statistics, and do some research before you make your statements.

I seem to recall he is a cancer survivor and had a major reflection upon his life. Again, I stress you take some computer programming courses, statistics, and read a few academic papers regarding general AI before you make a single statement about things which you have no full understanding of.

Great talents come with great responsibility. How does it work out for the world community that Mr. Lee, an Chinese American, helps communist Chinese government to develop this technology? Before anyone rebuttals my comment here, please keep in mind he can’t do what he does in China without the communist government’s blessing and support. If you believe that his company and his research are independently operated, you need to dig in a little more.

It seems like he is just painting a rosy picture of China for tech workers and trying to headhunt. The real reason the systems are so decoupled isn't that you need to go live there and invest everything like he suggests. Foreign companies will almost never be allowed to succeed because of preferential government backing/funding of local companies, restricted market access, unwritten regulations and intimidations based on that access, Chinese joint-venture partner requirements, and IP theft. And contrary to what he says in this talk, China *is* trying to compete for foreign markets in an investment proxy-war style as Kai-Fu Lee describes himself in the case of Uber in his very interesting book.
