Suzuki SV650S SV100 R&G tail tidy fitting / fender eliminator

Cheers just bought one of these for my original 2004 sv. As you said instructions were sparse - glad u showed where the two rounded brackets went as this was putting me off taking mine apart lol 😊

Thank you for the upload! Note you put the brackets on the wrong side and flipped over. I tried it your way and had to re-read the directions. The note of "the radiused end of the bracket faces forward" was my lightbulb moment. Only issue is that you won't be able to properly torque the tidy down as it will hit the threaded posts

Hello! i know this video is a bit old however, i’ve just got one of these bikes and want to replace the rear indicators, will “modern indicators” plug and play so to speak? or will i have to do a whole load of re-wiring, thanks!

Hi, sorry, not really my area of expertise but I’m guessing if you’re using LED’s then you will need some in line resistors because the current will be too high for the low voltage LED’s. Don’t quote me on that though. I haven’t had the bike for many years now but it was my second and what a fabulous machine.

Erm, is was fairly straight forward, just a wire cutter and a couple of bullet connectors, hope you’ve got it sorted

where does the fuse box clip on once the original mudguard is gone ?

Crikey, I’ve no idea, I don’t think it effects the placement of the fuse box if I remember right, it’s been a long time since I made the video and I sold the bike soon after

Just removing one of these "tail tidies", looks dreadful and means the water sprays up the back of the bike. Stick to the original, you know it makes sense!
