Kail pot, wild swimming in this beautiful hidden gem in the lake district

Over the moon with this find, after getting home and checking an os map of the area i discovered its called kail pot.

Water, first aid kit incase of a fall, check the weather that morning, so you don't get caught out

No you can come around from the other side but if your coming from up north it adds a good 30 mins on the journey

Went here to find this place yesterday but think we took a wrong route half way down the trail when you come to the stone bridge, isit straight past the stone bridge or do you cross the bridge?

Don't have the postcode to hand right now but parking is on the same road as fisher ground campsite before hard Knott's pass begins, there's a red phone box at the beginning of the route, you can find it on my Strava maps 👍.

The water is even prettier in winter, just make sure you can warm up quickly after 👍💚

Please refrain from spending time below "Any" Waterfall because of Natural Debris (Logs, Tree Branches Animal Carcasses etc) coming downstream Be Safe xx

10 min drive toward hard knotts pass, parking 200m before the pass, once parked turn left at the red phone box to get onto the trail , from there just follow the river really
