KAILAS FUGA EX2 First Run & First Impressions Review. I'm glad to say we have the Kailas trail running brand back on the channel. We tested and reviewed their FUGA PRO 4's a few months ago and I thought they performed well out on their first run. The only negative I had was their pretty high price tag of £220! The good news is the FUGA EX2 we're looking at today is a lot more affordable at £140, so check out the video to find out if more expensive means better performance?

Because of your review and kailas black friday discount, that made the shoes price reasonable, i ordered a pair. On paper and based on your review it should be a great pair of trail running shoes but I will get back with my own experience.

you speak a lot about your specific foot shape. Is there a way you can do a wet foot print so we can visualize how our foot may compare? I would love to order a few of the brands you have tested but you make your foot shape sound alien with how often you point it out. Love the videos, keep up the great work!

I work in running retail for 10 years so I've seen a lot of feet and I'd say my foot shape is definitely not alien! 😂 I've got a very average foot shape, not to wide or to narrow and not that deep either. Hey Lloyd , love your honest opinions on gear, I’ve got two questions if you have the time,firstly do you think the Kailas would be useful as a road to trail shoe, and secondly will you be trying out the Altra Outroad, seems no one is that bothered about them and I’m wondering why!

Hi Richard I think the Kailas shoes are very comfortable on the road so you have no problems running road to trail in them 👍 I won't be testing the Altra Outroad. I think it's one of those shoes trying to achieve everything and actually achieving nothing 🤔 Hope this helps and thanks for watching the channel 🙏

Foot bed too hard for me like a Salomon is this normal? Lots of hikers and trail runners swear by it. What am I missing? I feel pressure points in a brand new pair and no cushioning, given my favourite comforts are the Speedgoat 5 and Asics Fuji Lite. I prefer the lacing system on Kailas though.

Cushioning is just personally preference. If you run a lot of miles in the Speedgoats you've probably just got use to having a soft midsole. Anything you try on now that a bit firmer will feel very firm to start with and it will take a while to get use to it. If you get on so well with the Speedgoats and the Asics shoes, why are you trying other shoes? I'm a great believer in sticking with what works for you 👍
