Can't believe how long it took KZbin to recommend me your channel. Superb commentary; concise, to the point, no bullshit. Great clean audio for your spoken word stuff, great b-rolls and small details like putting up a warning when the sound is about to go back to being loud is greatly appreciated. I rarely comment on techtubers as most of them get so many views and comments that it's kinda pointless to comment anything constructive, but man how you are not over a million subs is just beyond me. Keep up the quality man. There are many many of us that really really appreciate the honesty and details in the content you make.

I’m happy I found this review cuz some people say these are not that great and after seeing your sound test of the brown and pink silent I ordered both! For my nice quiet editing rig I’m currently running a keychron k6 hot swap board, kailh silent box browns, and simple but pretty hyperx pudding key caps in black! This board has the least amount of rattle and clack noise of any I’ve seen! The combo feels very premium and even if you don’t like the sound typing is great 👍 for me at least 😄 snappy, the perfect amount of force, not to tactical, and very nice sound for what I want 😌

Fantastic and well-produced overview as always, Brian. You're the first reviewer I've seen mention that the top housing plays nice with GMK caps when North-facing, so right-on. I got a set of these maybe a week and a half ago (browns) and I absolutely love them - typing on them right now in fact. Crisp, snappy, and no mush indeed! Now I just need to re-stock on lube...

There is a series of Box switches that are PCB mount exclusively, the BOX crystal switches. I highly recommend checking them out, especially the updated crystal jade switches! The crystal jades fix the issues with weighting the original version had and it makes a world of difference, the crystal navy switches are identical to regular navy switches, the crystal royals are the same as regular, and the crystal pinks are the same as their regular counterpart. The only difference is the bottom housing is totally transparent and it’s PCB mount.

Just for the record, BOX Crystal switches are 5-pin. Also, I dunno why but these switches were released for $4.30 for 10 but bumped up to $6.00. I reviewed these a while ago, gonna desolder an RK71 and slap both lubed Silent Pinks and Browns inside. Hoping to be impressed :p

Glad to have gotten the browns when i did. I checked a few days ago to grab another set and they're both sold out on NK. I haven't checked to see if they've restocked though. I went from using box jades to Box silent browns in one board and Healios in another. Loving the silence so far.

I have a HyperX Alloy FPS RGB with Silver Speed Silent Kailh switches with rubber o-rings. These are also linear. They are pretty fast in actuation and really silent till you let the key jump back. The bottoming stroke is silent but the return is not. I would like to see a comparison between Kailh Silver Speed and Pink Linear especially if Pinks are less or more scratchier that Silver Speed.
