We invited one cousin for work. He Stayed in our home gave him bedroom, free food clothing plus job. Wife and son came we gave them our basement free . all furniture provided and gave him older van free. After his family came 6 months later, one early morning 3 am they left to another province in winter without telling us.

My Canadian born son moved to Australia for studies during the first 2 mo. He stayed with close family as I wanted him to learn about the country Get help to find job and connect w family. However, immediately I gave my Australian family member $800/ month he had not asked or expected, which made things smooth for everyone. After 2 mo my son found a rental and moved out and we have fine relationships.

I think helping close family, first cousins or elderly relatives for the first 2-4 wks is fine. Help them get started but anything beyond for both for the guest & host is unreasonable

Jadon bachya ne india to ana hunda parents always says their relative ohh sada bacha bhoot independent hai ape khana v bna lenda hai sare kanm v kar lenda hai but reality is something opposite hunde hai . Chalo eh v kuch nahi … tusi har tra de help karde whatever need to move or documents .but feel udoo hunda hai jado sab Kuch karan to baad v ohh reshtedar tuhanu bhoot madaaa bna dende hun baki reshtedaaraa age . Te end vich oh reshta v khatam ho janda hai te na hi oh Pyaar rehnda hai .. So request to everyone k koi v tuhade kese v tra de help kare appreciate karyaa karoge great full houa karo .

I have done this and kept for free for 1 full month and dropping and picking up from and to Calgary, just like own child, a daughter of neighbour that i met 30 yrs back at of 4, but there are a lot loses and hattha te pairaanu kathha hi fad letta ki dobaara kade ve nahi karna. Kyunki ghar wich aake rishteyaate firk paata, maa beti de beech me diwaar ban gayee te bahut khajjar kitta😓
