God that Hello signal…it fascinates me so much but also makes me think so deeply about language, syntax, our way of thinking, perception, our expectations; the extent to which our thoughts, ideas, dreams and hopes are ‘universal’ after all. Just brain numbing to think that our most precious knowledge and its best explanation can be jargon to an equally intelligent specie out there. And vice versa.

Very good sumup of human efforts in reaching out to other possible intelligent creatures. I do have a technical question, in communication often we like the check the information received to ensure we got it complete and as it was sent. What sort of mechanism’s used to ensure our message isn’t dismissed as a chance occurrence?
@KainaatAstronomyinUrdu2 жыл бұрын
That is a big challenge (and the Wow! signal is a good example). However, we have to be conservative and sure about any claim that it is an ET signal...
@johnny21212122 жыл бұрын
@@KainaatAstronomyinUrdu That brings us to another question. Since known estimates concluded wow signal as unmodulated transmission doesn’t that mean modulated signals would provide incontrovertible evidence for ET.

I have two questions sir, and one suggestion. Have been following you since long time. Question 1: Why is there so less audience who is interested in Astronomy, or knowing about universe? is the religion bound them not thinking about universe so they think its fake? what is the reason of so less interest in fundamentals of our origin? I have never seen an informative video about universe which cross 1 million views....but for songs, every other song can easily cross 2 to 3 million and often seen 100 million views on songs as well. So, what is the reason? can you explain in a video? Question 2: What do you think about aliens? our current technology is enough to find any alien life (intelligent or not) in next 30 to 40 years? Suggestion 1: I have seen most of videos on your channel and you are simply amazing. however, I think you should make most of your videos under 5 to 6 mins duration. Your videos are very long(which is good for a person who wants explanation), but i think you should make videos around 5 mins as well, and just tell the basics about some topic, you can attach link to your detailed video, so that a person who is interested would watch it. You are really doing a great work, this is only channel by pakistani which is providing pure scientific knowledge, without making any false claim, and without adding suspense (pseudoscience based). Best of luck, i want to see this channel grow.
@KainaatAstronomyinUrdu2 жыл бұрын
Thank you Raza! I appreciate both of your points. I will try to make some shorter videos as well - but my primary goal is to get the key concepts across, and not necessarily the number of views. But of course, a broader reach is good too. So will try to find the balance... :)

Wow, pahle me sochta tha. Kya faida hai agar message mil bhi jaye to. Time hi itna zyada lagega. Aur insna to bhut jaldi khatam ho jayega. Lekin is video me aek naye baat maloom huyee. Insano ko jo in philosophers ne itna confuse kiya hai. Uska jawab mil jayega. I thought philosophy itself not exists. Wo har ceez ka proof magte hai. Lekin khud philosophy ka koi proof nahi hai. Bas mind ki limitations ka faida uthaya jata hai. Jaise some philosophers say- all universe is myth.. hamare mind se universe nikal rahi hai. Sochne me accha lagta hai. But ka aapke haath me khane ka niwala ho aur zor se bhook lag rahi ho. To kya aap us wakt niwale ko dekhkar bol sakte hai ki yah niwala myth hai? Jisse meri bhook mit rahi hai. Yani me myth ko khaa kar apni myth ki bookh mita raha hu? To philosophy khud pratical exits nhi karti ur dusro par sawla uthati hai.. Scientists 👍 philosophers 👎

Assalam o Alaikum Sir, "According to Einestein all celestial bodies like star, planets etc produce a curvature on the fabric of space-time".My question is that, if any star explodes and become a super nova it will cause a distortion in space - time fabric, so, why the celstial bodies nearby this exploding star do not collide with each other because of this distortion & imbalance in the space-time fabric??
@KainaatAstronomyinUrdu2 жыл бұрын
Tariq - couple of reasons as the distortion is not that great from a supernova (lot more from blackhole-blackhole collisions) dissipates and the distances are quite great. In fact, if you are close by, you are likely to be destroyed radiation and a planet (or even a star) can get a kinetic kick - that is much more than a space-time distortion.

Definitely it will be difficult to communicate as in understanding each other because of language. But are we assuming that extra terrestrial has more intelligence than us? If yes, then why are we assuming that? Can we think that we are more intelligent than extra terrestrial beings? Also, we are assuming that some fundamentals of life will remain same for us (such as mathematical, physical laws or language) for any other intelligent life. By how much of a significant value can we assume this?
@KainaatAstronomyinUrdu2 жыл бұрын
Anum - the assumption in the first part is based on the fact that we have just acquired the ability to communicate at interstellar distances. So the likelihood is that any other civilization would be more technologically advanced as the probability of two civilizations to be at the same level is exceedingly small. But of course, this is an assumption. " Second is a harder question - but again we do not have evidence that laws change when we far into the universe (that is also far back in time). So the assumption is that the physical laws stay the same. Language, of course, evolves a lot...

The material for exploring and studying for universe is also available on earth that all is not that we are thinking but all naturally event are now related eachother. therefore we are not doing in unknown or on our wishes But we are living part of everything thats a reason of our quality our brain is made as to attract to all in space time distance .
