Glad to listen to the magnificent treat in the voice of Javed Ali Saab for the very first time ! Infact, I have this song in my proud possession in the form of a CD procured for my SONY Music System a couple of years back ! This beautiful song was originally sung by the great Muhammad Rafi Saab under the baton of the great Madan Mohan Saab ! The great Madan Mohan Saab was one of the brightest jewels in the World Of Hindustani Film Music ! He had given composition of music in the Hindustani Films a pedestal which will be difficult to surpass ! To be very true, this song of the great Rafi Saab has been very close to my heart ever since I have listened to it for the very first time long back ! It has continued to be in my everyday menu till date and will remain so till I breathe ! Yes, Rafi Sahib was a genius but great attempt by Javed Ali. He is a superb singer and is keeping Rafi Sahib's songs alive. If anybody can do justice to Rafi Sahib's songs, that is Javed Ali.
