What a wonderful idea! I'll be joining you in that prayer, because we know those specific people are out here. The same goes for additional viewers & subscribers to increase the ad sense revenue, if Marcie is allowing some advertising on her channel. Doing our part to share her videos & channel can only help as well, & that I can surely do! Samantha in AZ

Hi Marcie, Sometimes it’s so good for the soul to vent, I remember my poor sweet mom struggling when us kids were young, raising 8 of us alone, working outside the home (nurse). She was our Chauffeur, plumber, roofer, electrician and the best Christian cheerleader you’d wanna meet. She just wanted/needed adult conversations sometimes and help. You’re really doing a fine job Marcie, someone special is definitely out there for you sweet girl to help make your loving load a tad lighter. God Bless ❤

I love how your kids love each other so much. What a blessing. How did you get them to be that close. You do such a great job! I hope people aren't judging, but I know people can be terrible. There's no shame in getting assistance, that's what you've paid for and will pay for when you become fully employed. Applying for 15 jobs a week is nuts! There aren't 15 jobs out there! I hope KZbin works out for you.
@singlemomonafarm3 күн бұрын
Thank you! I'll have to think about why they're all close and do a video on it. The short answer would be lots of family time, talking, and respect (I ask their opinion and let them make decisions). Praise and compliments and thanking them. Telling them I'm sorry when I let them down. Telling them about natural consequences. Like sharing toys will make us happier and we can play and have more fun. Not sharing toys makes the game not last very long and everyone is grumpy. Which one do you want? You're right, there aren't 15 jobs in my town! Or the next closest one either. I'd have to commute to a large city or move my family there.

Love the snowflakes Tilly❄~ very pretty! Wow Kait, not ONE cavity?! That's truly impressive. Did it feel funny to talk & sing right after having them removed? I can only imagine, & you must be thrilled~ what a pretty smile you have😁 *Marcie, you are allowed to be frustrated, to vent & to wonder why in the good night our social service systems~ & dentists & doctors, etc~ are not set up to actually support individual families with individual needs. The funds are absolutely available, but need to focus on ways to diversify based on what a parent is actually already involved in, already on a trajectory to succeed if only it could be handled/supported on a case by case basis. It's not as if you're some kind of slouch who's simply lazing around waiting for the world to serve you~ it's YOU who are geared toward wanting to serve others, including your family & your community, your church, etc. It also was never your plan to be a single parent, my goodness! You were married, living a life of wanting to be the best wife and mother possible~ with God at the center of everything~ supporting your husband in his education and career, managing an entire home and family is a massive job~ one you had whole heartedly committed to, clearly. Life took a drastic turn, & you managed to still take hold of & continue to be that parent/provider, home manager, & follow God's lead for you. You continue to search for ways to keep life moving forward for ELEVEN PEOPLE, amidst all of those major changes & disappointments~ oh my word it's a lot! Single women with no children fall apart every day at such a huge life change~ yet here you are, pushing forward. This is absolutely the "thick of it", so to speak. Kind of the middle years where it's super challenging, exhausting. It's wonderful that you are someone who will not give up, you've made that clear. It truly is frustrating, even to the observer, to know that so many of our country's systems are flooded with resources, yet sorely lacking in creative solutions. Perhaps it's time to look more toward the private sector, & I'm thinking of things like philanthropic organizations who have chosen to fill in the gaps for specific families, individuals & circumstances that are obviously underserved. I was a social worker for over 30 years in WA State, so I know they exist. I'm very curious about what may be available to you, in the way of supports that could meet you where you're at, where you're trying to go already, instead of pulling you off track in an entirely different direction~ 15 job apps a week, seriously?! I know I'm not the only one out here with similar thoughts, possible connections based on experience. We are designed to be in community, to share each other's burdens & joys. I will be praying that God directs the exact people & supports that best fit your needs, in Jesus' name.Sammy in AZ

And thank you for the hope you've given me in finding more help either with SS for Nathan's disability or God directing people to help me. Or for praying that more of my stuff sells. Or just that I know how to spend my time the best in order to provide for my family (babysitting? Writing curriculum? YT? etc.) I appreciate all of this and all of your comments! Any chance you will get child support again? That would help. I saw my Mom have to support us . She told me to get a career so I did. When my husband left I could support myself and the kids. I was glad I took her advice. Life is never how we plan it
@singlemomonafarm3 күн бұрын
Nathan is in a state mental hospital so I have no idea if I'll ever get child support again. I'm not planning on it. I'd love to have my own career and be able to support us so I'm working towards that. I'm so glad you were able to support yourself and kids. I do have a Bachelor's degree so I felt that was good insurance against something happening to my husband. But I never used it for 20+ years and was never told what kinds of jobs I could get with it. So I'm figuring out God's plan for me. Really, we're doing great and very blessed. Harder than I thought, but learning a lot.

My thoughts, exactly!! In 2020 it was the rule because nobody beside the patient was allowed in a lot of medical practices. So I couldn't figure out why this place was being so stubborn. Never in the plan. And it's very lonely not having a spouse to share your day with, bounce ideas off of, solve car problems, and enjoy life's sweet moments with. Hoping someday I can find a wonderful husband.
@cumberlandquiltchic17 күн бұрын
I lost my husband almost 13 years ago. I was 45. It’s very difficult being a widow, even though my kids are grown. My family is very far away and so are my kids. I have an old home and have lived on a very fixed income below poverty level. Nothing is love more than to find a loving husband again, because I had a wonderful Marriage. Let me tell you something… you can’t to shop for one of those. They are an “out of stock” item. They don’t “make them anymore”. The ones out there are married. There’s plenty of married ones who love to pull you in, or “players” after only one thing. Also ones who want to take what you have… I can go in and on. Then there’s the abusive ones who are narcissists and will drag you down and depress you and beat you up. Now, I don’t have kids. Can you imagine trying to find someone when you have children that you can trust ? 🤷♀️ With all due respects, you really don’t understand what’s involved in what you just said. For me, I’d rather live out my life poor, but safe and happy and healthy. That’s not to say someone isn’t out there and it can’t happen. But you don’t just put an ad in the paper or shop for one. Then there’s the remote living aspect. How do you find this person? 🤦♀️
