Your children’s performances were amazing as always! So it sounded like 22:00 was Tily and then someone joined but I couldn’t tell who. Then it was Thomas, and after that I couldn’t tell who. I’m still trying to differentiate Samuel and Andy as well as the older girls. Merry Christmas and happy new year to you all!

Again it sounds like you have a very good support systems with your family, friends and the Mormon church. Most people don't have both sides of their family paying your mortgage. Where are you getting the odd jobs from? From the church? From your friends? I feel like you aren't telling the whole truth about your situation.

Aw, thank you! I'm excited to be warm at church. And I was touched that Madalyn got with the kids to decide my gifts and ordered it without me knowing. So nice that she wasn't in classes this semester and had time for these kinds of things. She's done a lot of sweet things for me.

I wrap one gift from me for each child under the tree. And they wrap a gift for each other. Santa leaves our gifts from him on the couch wherever we set our stocking out. Nathan's Santa and my Santa growing up always did it this way, so it's all I've known. Maybe Santa wraps gifts for smaller families? I haven't asked other families, so I'm not sure. I'm sorry it made you sad.

Thanks! I heard her playing while I was cooking and thought I'd better record it before she goes back to college. I always miss the older girls playing when they go off to college. Their music brings me a lot of comfort and peace; like everything is going to be fine.
