I actually got this achievement by pure accident: I was goofing around the court, roundhouse kicking objects and watching them fly all over the place. I kicked a cart full of b-balls and juggled one midair... and it went into the hoop. Now I was already aware of the achievement and meant to do it post-game, but the fact that I managed to do it then and there without thinking got me wheezing for a minute straight.

If you didn't know already, there's a multiplayer mod for this game call SlopCrew and it just so fun hanging out with other people after finishing the game.

What bothers me most of all is that you can grind up the hoop's support beam and you dismount from the top in front of the hoop. Literally they specifically placed something in such a position that if your character could just pick up the ball, they could dunk it no problem and then they force us to suffer.

Yeah.... I was one of those people that just swished it. Just went "hmm yeah I'll give it a shot while I'm here" and yup, first try. That said, once you get all the trick achievements, I implore you to keep going if you enjoy the game. All those achievements lowball the true potential of each stage. Especially Mataan. I don't think I'll be able to say I've conquered the game until I hit all of Mataan in a single combo.

In a weird way, it feels like the tricked achievements get gradually more tame as you progress through the stages - Hideout and Versum Hill I beat the scores while only missing a few of the potential multipliers on the map and with a healthy bit of grinding, Brink Terminal and Millenium Square I'd well overshot despite there being good sections of the map I hadn't gotten to before dropping my combo. By the time I got to the mall I'd hit 54 million before even entering the third section despite the achievement being at only 12.5 million or so. Only real exception to that rule for me was Pyramid Island but that's partially just because that map rubs my brain the wrong way

Hey btw, if you think you've done everything in the game but are looking for _one more_ little secret to do (no achievement for it), there's a suuuuper secret spot in Versum Hill, in the area with the big snakes underground. I won't spoil exactly where it is... but look for a vent near an ad screen. The area inside is really something unique. :P

Hopefully Nintendo add these as either accolades or benchmarks or something like that as well as more powerful sytem to properly compete and have more gaming titles available. I actually think I found a pretty reliable way of doing this one: Sliding (Manual while on foot). It gives a much more reliable direction to the shot than roundhouse and you can easily line the ball up again if you miss. 1. Line up the ball in the mark right in front of the Free Throw position of the court, try to make it centered with the hoop but not mandatory, just makes lining the slide easier 2. Get some distance from the ball and make sure to Slide slightly before hitting it. If you do it late it's just gonna be a dud, go back to 1 and try again. 3. If you do it right the ball will get shot in a straight line with your slide and pretty high up 4. Adjust your position and try again until you're ballin 5. Congrats you're a baller

I didn't get the achievement the first time I scored a ball. Turned out I forgot the 'Versum Hill' part in the achievement's description as I spent a whole hour at Franks' secret hideout in Manaan desperately whooping those round bastards. Imagine the agony. Still haven't recovered from it to try my shot at the Versum Hill hoop.

There’s a secret area somewhere in a vent an it has a hoop and multiple balls in there but the best part is the room is TINY I forget if it was in this area but the easiest way to find out is search all song locations and it’ll be one of those areas hopefully it’s in the same area so more people won’t need to give up on this achievement

I got so lucky and got that done in like 3 minutes after meeting Flesh Prince, and before you ask for tips I found that the leg sweep was the best at launching the ball. the rest was luck

When you walk onto the court fron the stairs the hoop on the right side. The ball is placed there perfectly. If you mess up go away from the area and come back. I did it in like 2 or 3 tries

it took me like 50 minutes to do this achievement, and of those 50 minutes, about 40 of them were spent lining the ball up, I got lucky with my 7th or so attempt, but even getting it in the right position is mad hard
