So what did they say about adjusting the low speed? Thinking about adding same to my FJ. Are you considering doing the valve body as well or is the control module enough for normal highway and beach?

What are your thoughts on the y62?
@AaronOffroader5 жыл бұрын
Ben jamin hey man! I do quite like some aspects of them. Can be modified quite well. Quite expensive for a good one and not really a petrol V8 4wd type of person. Also the dash/ interior looks quite outdated.

after all the body lift and body mount chop, do you have any rubbing issues? Are you happy with the set-up, any long term review on body mount chop (good or bad decision etc?)
@AaronOffroader3 жыл бұрын
Yeah i love the setup! No rubbing but keep in mind the BFG KM3s are a small tyre and they are 315/70/17... full size 35s would rub alot on the tops of the guards.

Hey bud what brand / type of phone holder you got there 3:03 ?
@AaronOffroader5 жыл бұрын
Hey man, its a Scroche Dash mount. Just under $30
@musokid895 жыл бұрын
Hey Aaron, I notice you’ve got a magnetic magic mount phone holder stuck on the dash. I’ve got the same one mounted on the windshield of my car but lately I’m finding my phone slightly slips on rough corrogations. How have you found yours? I’ve been considering looking into a RAM mount or something similar. Thoughts?
@AaronOffroader5 жыл бұрын
Brendan Toohey have you got the same scroche brand? Mine can hold a full size Ipad on there with pretty rough terrain. If you have something different maybe try this brand :) Ive got the large stick on plate on my small phone also
@musokid895 жыл бұрын
@@AaronOffroader yea mines the scorche one with the large plate on the back of my phone case. weird, might just be wearing down over time or something. cheers for the reply!

Just twisting wire together is a bad idea. There is too much resistance through the join and it will come loose over time. Please consider soldering!
@AaronOffroader5 жыл бұрын
Hi mate, yeah everything gets soldered and covered up with heat shrink or at the very least. Tape. Must have cut abit of the video short did I?

@@AaronOffroader i am just wondering why anyone would buy a new prado and tear it down from top to bottom-and spend so much money? why not just buy a heavy duty truck? a 200 series or even Iveco or 70 series? why tear a prado like that-so many options to choose from
@AaronOffroader4 жыл бұрын
GoldenBoy you said build a car how i want. So i have added to an already quite capable car. Making it more capable and how i want. This car was not new and if you must know ive built this Prado for less than a new Standard VDJ79 GXL. With a cheap Toyota Tray. Which is already a much inferior vehicle requiring alot more mods.

@@AaronOffroader why is a VDJ79 an inferior car? i almost bought that double cab before i went for the new prado
