Remember how Obito said “those who abandon their friends are worse than scum”. Kakashi used that same quote to team 7 back in the days. Obito's excuse for being late, saying he was helping an old lady nearby across as his excuse. Older kakashi adopted this behaviour as he's being late at the start of the series with team 7 for the reason he regularly visits the memorial stone.

I've always liked how Teams Hiruzen, Minato, and Kakashi mirrored each other so closely. The prodigy that takes everything seriously and seems cold. The no talent knucklehead that has heart and determination, sees the prodigy as a rival, and is in love with the medic nin. The medic nin who's in love with the prodigy (2/3 anyway) and rejects the knucklehead.

people love to notice the obvious similarities between characters call it lazy hate on it and pretend they found a secret as if those similarities are not on purpose but they never notice the subtle differences in their story or how they act cause its just easier to pick up on the writers drawing obvious parallels..smdh..like with obito and naruto..yes they are similar but theres a difference...obito had rin naruto had no one so he endured and was more caring about bonds others and did not give up on himself or have a selfish reason to be hokage....obito was liked naruto was not...obito had no real reason to goof off and not study naruto did...theres many differences between them as well people just miss..

@@razkable Well actually that's not 100% correct. First, Kushina prayed for a child to be like Obito thus Naruto's personality and his corresponding. Second, Obito wasn't liked and went either unknown or was regularly bullied by other students his age. Not well-liked at all. Naruto and Obito's personalities are extremely similar and what you brought up was their life and not how they are very similar. Their philosophies also correspond with one another, and their biggest dream to become Hokage and be liked. The things you brought up had way too many holes in it. Also, Naruto had Iruka sensei, Hinata, Shikamaru, and later Jiraiya and Kakashi. Hinata loved him, and there were occasions where she stopped him from getting picked on. Iruka Sensei came a bit later than Hinata but was there for him and motivated him, Shikamaru was there since day one. Jiraiya is a grandfather to him and Kakashi watched over him. Also both Obito and Naruto were orphans.

Minato's transportation technique is the Flying Thunder God Jutsu. He marks anything or anyone he wants with a seal and then teleports to it in a split second with no distance limit whatsoever. If he doesnt leave the mark directly he uses his own branded kunai knives, scatters them around the battlefield, and slaughters everyone instantly. Also he invented the Rasengan so, yeah...Mah mans pretty dope

so I know they only show it briefly and not really, but Minato kills 1000 people in like 0.02 seconds and single-handedly ends the war (literally hidden stone leaders are like "nah we don't wanna mess with that") in that scene where he has the guys throw the kunai everywhere.

Actually in the manga it says differently about Kakashi's father. It says that he was as much of a legend as the legendary sannin. I don't know why they said it that way in the the dub version. It wasn't about power, it was about the fame they acquired in war.

True, although, from the databooks and novels, it is generally accepted that he was likely more powerful that the sannin; like Minato, an unprecedented genius, without either bloodline-limits or any of the 4 visual prowess's.

Nothing says he is more powerful than current Jiraiya, Orochimaru, or Tsunade, and people seem to not realize that. I mean, Hanzo was able to fight all 3 of them at the same time at one point. Where as, Jiraiya is able to hold his own against Pain, and Orochimaru can hold his own against 4 tailed Naruto, with no arms, not to mention what Tsunade does but that's spoilers.

Also, remember that there are more episodes like this, that might be considered as "Filler" by some, but they also flesh out the world. Whether you decide to share your experiences or not, I recommend watching them all. If they don't grab your heart strings, they might pull your humor strings. Consider that there are around 400 episodes or so, total & at the end you will want more. You could interpret "Filler" as "bonus".

I don't think so good about rin. Kakashi told her that obito lover her and she didn't say a word about that. Instead she wanted to say that she loved Kakashi like right after obito died for her and Kakashi. That's pretty disgusting and disrespectful in my eyes. I think obito was kinda to good for rin. Like naruto who loved Sakura but ended up with hinata because his love for Sakura were just a teen crush. I'm sure obito could've ended up with a true woman who really loved him instead of clinging for a hopeless romance for a girl who didn't even realized obitos love for her. I mean she meant the world to him and she didn't even notice, how dense can someone be to not notice something like that. She ran after Kakashi like a little pet dog leaving obito behind. Even if she cared about obitoa as a friend, in the end she didn't cared one bit about his feelings. Obito could have found a true woman just like naruto did. I don't hate rin but I don't really like her too.
