the plot twist...this is where the story of naruto flips into a bigger deal...it was cute until now but this arc changed the game from here on...crazy how itachi's twist is apart of this big arc as well and we get reminded of kakashi's...who would of guessed ...what a story arc...i can see why the five kage summit and war felt lesser cause of this arc...

This death right here is my favorite death in ANY anime i have seen. It’s so emotional, well managed and sad. Jiraiya seeing his live in retrospective and realizing that he didnt achieve many things, BUT however he is satisfied that he managed to give his will to Naruto and he can die peacefully. It will ALWAYS gets to me.

That Pain with no eyes was blinded before by Jiraiya's sage kick. Also don't forget he's a master at disguises, therefore he probably used clone jutsu to replicate himself and Gamaken, then appearing from behind to take down the summonings.

Tendo Pain was more durable because the other Path’s were destroyed and all of his chakra was focused in Yahiko’s body. And they were getting closer to the seventh Pain as the fight progressed.

When I first read this part in the manga many year's ago I shed a tear. He showed great bravery in this fight and would've won if he knew the Rinnegan's secrets but he was needed for Naruto's growth. Jiraya's my favorite character.
