Honestly I don’t understand why obito didn’t recruit kakashi , I’m sure he could’ve when kakashi had gone cold in the anbu . I guess you could argue maybe Obito had some hate for Kakashi for what he did to Rin. Though I guess once he's not in his angry phase and went ballistic like that one time, and is in full Masked Man mode in terms of cold and calculated. He could have came to Kakashi at one of his low points. Tell him a story about he witnessed Rin's death as well. Use that guilt tell him that Konoha is using him like a tool, as Rin was a pawn as well. Offer a solution that could ease the pain and then boom Kakashi's on board.

no. In order to work you have to pierce the heart tenketsu so death is ALWAYS guarenteed Having a biijuu cant keep your blood vessels from burning inside out I imagine using Bijuu power would boost it but i feel like itd kill you even faster

Danzo's tongue markings, various genjutsu, kotoamatsukami, etc all of those could have prevented kakashi from saying anything. And he may not have even really worked with nagato, nor could his mission be memorable enough to even remember it (he was only gaining info on them, not doing the deeds) after all kakashi had done so so many missions that he may have just forgotten one mission out of the dozens upon dozens of others.

I like this theory, it really shows what danzo is capable of, why rain village felt isolated and likely how Kakashi got his experience of disguise. Honestly the click bait made me doubtful at first, but this SOUNDS like a solid theory, though no way to really confirm this as it's at best vaguely or barely hinted much less implied, that explicitly stated or even proven 😅. Ngl, I think it's a bit of a stretch having Kakashi in the Akatsuki but him not having any relevant information about Nagatos rinnegan for example he could use in his fight against pain or give to Tsunade to help her figure out more of the Akatsuki. Also, I believe he didn't know the name Akatsuki when it was first mentioned to him which I find weird if h really was in the first Akatsuki, could remember this one wrong tho. On a different topic, Rin had purple markings on her face and it is my head canon Kakashi chose the purple color for his photographer identity to sort of resemble hers while also hiding his sharingan. That's why they aren't on his cheeks like with Rin, they still need to be practical

also if Kakashi was being a spy up until he was removed from the Anbu then that also doesn't match with canon lore as he would never be in the Hidden Leaf so Guy never would have seen the change in Kakashi and wouldn't have been able to keep bugging Kakashi as well as pushing to have Kakashi pulled from the Anbu, this theory says Kakashi returns and chooses to leave the Anbu when from what i remember hearing from this channel he was removed from it largely because of Guy begging for it.

Hanzo and many other villagers had heard of the Akatsuki and stories of what they wanted and who had started it. It's not unlikely that danzo would have heard about them without the anbu.

Season 1 episode 11 of Shippuden. When Temari assembles her rescue party to go after the Akakski, before she is told by the sand village council she cannot, and granny chio goes instead. If you look closely the shorter woman behind her bears the same purple markings you described. Just another person I’ve found to have those same purple face markings.

Man... Nick is casting more shade against the US Government than the Nara Clan casts overall. I love it! Also, it's possible that those two super-suspicious Akatsuki members that look to be an "Inuzuka" and a "son of Mito" are _actually_ just that. They really _are_ an Inuzuka and one of Tsunade's uncles. In all likelihood, judging by the age the would-be Senju is, he probably defected shortly after or towards the end of the Second Great Shinobi World War after seeing how badly Hiruzen and Danzo botched the ideals his father Hashirama had left behind for Konoha; the "Inuzuka" probably followed him, seeing as he appeared to be a bit too young to have ever met with Hashirama or Tobirama. Except, of _all_ the Shinobi who could have defected from Konoha, these are _literally_ some of the _worst_ ones to have done so. The _son of the First Hokage_ and a scion of one of the most prominent Clans in the Village? Those are some _really bad optics_ for Konoha! And _none_ of the Hidden Villages look kindly on defectors, typically dealing with them using a combination of sharp knives, bone-saws, and acid. But _how_ do you liquidate members of a powerful NGO without casting some serious suspicion and criticism on Konoha? Well, the _logical_ choice is to have them leave that NGO, either willingly or by having said NGO dissolved. I'd make the argument that this is the _real_ reason that Danzo made moves against the Akatsuki; he needed to find a viable way for Root to hunt-down big-name targets without raising any red flags against the Hidden Leaf, and he was already getting concerned with Hanzo's power, so he arranged to pit the two factions against one-another so he could swoop-in and finish-off the survivors without leaving any witnesses or evidence of his involvement. It's not like he'll be publicizing "Hey, Tsunade, your uncle was a traitor so we hunted him down, tortured him for information, stabbed him forty times, dissected him, and then dunked what was left in ninja-acid. We're cool, right?" If Danzo did his job right, nobody would ever have to know what happened to the Senju or the Inuzuka, or even that they were defectors; for all everyone else knew, they vanished without a trace during the Second Great Shinobi World War and are presumed to have been slain by hostile forces while fighting for Konoha. Now, whether _he_ got to them or _Obito_ got to them is another matter entirely.

Or if we use Akums razor, the mission was an intel mission, he worked with a group, he may not have even interracted with yahiko and nagato enough to remember them almost a decade later.
