@DivvayKhatri4 жыл бұрын
@@RoodeMenon no. The tone of a movie depends upon its story and what it's trying to achieve. Man of steel was an attempt to create a realistic/relatable version of Superman which is why his character is much more human and much less happy than the usual superman standard and that is also the reason why the tone is darker. I'd say its the best really, it had everything. I still don't get why people criticize Snyder, he's done FANTASTIC with MoS and BvS. These movies are so mature and fulfilling which shows a whole different side of the Superhero genre. It's not just about big fights and cheeky jokes. The origin stories are great, the characters and their various motivations it all just fits in perfectly. I can't wait for Justice League to come out. DCEU is gonna be great, best superhero movies (for now) apart from the TDK trilogy (who can forget that lol). Snyder is definitely not scared to go all the way unlike Marvel who I think always play it safe and aim for big hits in the box office. Cap America CW and Iron man 3 are so so disappointing I just wished I could meet the writers of those movies pffft.

By killing Zod, Kal El also knew that if he never did, there would be no Earth left and he would have to become dust for General Zod's master plan... and even if the "codex" plot device was separate from Kal El, he would still be faced with being destroyed by Zod who is pulling military rank while Kal El is just really a civilian and son of someone he saw as a traitor to Krypton so it was a no win situation for Kal El if he left General Zod alive or as the sucker fans want to believe "had him arrested" This speaks volumes even of Faora herself as Krypton society and culture was dramatically different from what Jor El was researching and where the Earthling level was at. Plus Earth a suitable planet for Krytonian terraforming which simply means deleting all sub species because Krytonians are not Earthlings and not human beings at all... they are aliens and Bruce Wayne and arguably Luthor were right to suspect Superman of possibly being a threat that needed to be put down.

There were some golden moments in MOS that had a lot of heart - the way he took care of his mum and his girl. I think the fight scenes were superb - they were vicious, held nothing back - all out brawl, even if it decimated much of the city. The trouble with BVS was it didn't have a believable General Zod type villain - and the Lex Luthor we got was not convincing at all. that was why the studio felt they had to CGI a big bad and we got a dumb Doomsday hence.

+JKevz Reyes I think most people complain about the neck snapping is because it doesnt make sense that Kryptonians can be killed by neck snapping, since they cant even be killed by heavy impact, explosions, missiles or lasers. It’s incredible how a movie that already have ten years had better effects than most of the new superhero movies on the market

How Henry Cavill delivered a PERFECT Christopher Reeve intonation and cadence -- for an entire film-- is amazing.

Man of Steel is a masterpiece of its own. Henry Cavill exactly nailed the body language of Superman, he just knew how to move with those wiring and all those cgi. It's just aaahhh i just wanna scream 😆

The physical confrontation, between Superman and General Zod, in "Man of Steel" (2013), reminds me of the physical confrontation, between Neo and Smith, in "The Matrix Revolutions" (2003).

I get that too sometimes. it's because whenever i'm thinking I make this face that makes me look like I'm mad. So people often think I am always mad. It's actually pretty funny.
