Kala Rose of Saving Escape performs 2 original songs/talks foundation for music career

Kala Rose was born to be on a stage singing to a crowd. From an early age, Kala took an interest in music and has developed her talent through years of training and dedication. During this interview with BeDFRNT, Kala talks about the foundation of her group "Saving Escape" and attempts to give Nick and Brad a quick vocal listen. It's safe to say the fellas from BeDFRNT need some serious work on that end.

Those shows take the "winner" and lock them into one-sided contracts designed to make the corporate music industry wealthy, but not the artists. It's better for her if she makes her own way and gains enough traction to write her own recording contract with a small label.

Every time I watch it, To me, it truly is Better than the original, her and the drummer just smoked it, as well as all the rest of those young prodigies so very impressive. Her voice at the time just killed it. I listened to both today one after the other and her rendition just so much more depth....at 11, trying to get past that and the lyrics she was filling, pretty incredible she was able to do such a unique vocal, Goose bump style. And what even more astounding is that she learned she was singing incorrectly at the time, and yet it still was so goood! Tremendous presence at such a young age. 10 years and here we are, can't wait to see what she brings...Love IT Kala!

When I was a pup, I struggled to hear lyrics, let alone understand them, let alone feel the lyrics, let alone be able to express those emotions with music.. Since her earliest videos covering Fleetwood Mac ~ best shot she's not only been able to sing amazingly, but her ability to emote has been exquisite and just when I thought it wasn't possible she keeps getting better! All good brother. No ill intended. Wasn’t even trying to put you on blast or anything. In fact, after sending that, I thought of a scenario where it actually does kinda work. One artist covers a popular song, then another covers theirs…. Maybe, maybe not. It’s all semantics anyways. I’m just glad there is more and more music being created for the world to enjoy. There is, after all, only 12 notes (counting 1/2 steps) in every octave anyways. =)

I actually stumbled on to aving Escape and thought to myself she looks a bit familiar then I find out who she I am like that name also sounds familiar.So then I am looking for more sounds because this young band is pretty good and again I stumbled on to a link through the OKeefe Foundation which I know very well and it hit me who Kala was. She sure had an amazing start within the OKeefe foundation a unique voice that seemed a bit like a bit of a speech problem but she still sang amazing.Now fast forward her voice is all grown up and still sounds great with a touch for that southern sort of rock sound. I hope her band improves their skills over time because imo they have the knack for good sounding music they just need a bit more skill but for Kala yeah her voice is what it is and she sounds great. FTR I am never a fan of unplugged acoustic stuff not sure why so many artists and bands do it I guess it's easier and faster to just show up and play.
