2005ல் அரசு உதவி பெறும் பள்ளியில் 6ம் வகுப்பு சேர்ந்தேன்,பள்ளி புத்தகம் வாங்க கூட வசதி இல்லை,கலைஞர் 2006ல் ஆட்சிக்கு வந்ததும் இலவச பாட புத்தகம் திட்டம் தான் என்னை உயர்த்தியது.

இலவச பாட புத்தகம் தட்சிணாமூர்த்தி ஆட்சியில் கொண்டு வரவில்லை, இவருக்கு முன் ஆண்ட முதலமைச்சர் எம் ஜி ஆர், அண்ணா பக்தவச்சலம் பெருந்தலைவர் காமராஜர், இவர்களில் யாரேனும் ஒருவராக இருக்கலாம். ஆனால் தட்சிணாமூர்த்தியால் தான் என்று சொன்னால் அது தவறு. 1992, 1993காலகட்டத்தில் நான் பத்தாம் வகுப்பு படிக்கும் போதே இலவசமாய் எனக்கு பாடப்புத்தகம் வழங்க பட்டது. ஏன் அந்த கலகட்டத்திற்க்கு முன்னாடி இலவச பாட புத்தகம் வழங்கும் திட்டம் அமலில் இருந்தது.

I am 78 years 0ld.I have been following Kaligar right from Anna,s days.He was responsible for many millions ofthe uplift of backward and schedule caste people. But many of these people were ungrateful to him. His projects and social welfare schemes were intelligently implemented.like medical colleges ,IT corridors etc.He made a blunder of bringing Alagiri in politics and did not control Raja and Balu inspite of Manmohan Singh,s warnings. On the whole he was a great orator and administrator and a leader.No doubt about it.
