Can not tell you how much I appreciate a American saying Glasgow properly & not Glasscow
@seanscanlon906729 күн бұрын
I blame Mos-cow because that is how an American will pronounce that. And Kevin Bridges has said that if there is one word that is ideal to say in a Glasgow accent, it's Glasgow.

Many of us Brits drive on the right when we go to continental Europe on holiday. It takes about ten minutes for me to fully adjust, because the driving position is also on the opposite side and it feels completely natural to drive on the side nearest the oncoming traffic.

Your confusion over the term "burger" is totally understandable haha. I'd call those sesame seed / brioche buns "burger buns" or "burger rolls" and the burger would be the patty - it could be beef, chicken, pork, veggie - then not everything in a bun is a burger because sometimes a bun is called a roll - and then as you know, not everything in a roll is a burger! No wonder it's confusing 🥴

Guys if you want to feel at home in Glasgow eats, highly recommend the Thundercat Pub & Diner (Chicago Deep dish & Soul Food). Oh and they do ranch sauce 🤣

Philly cheese steak from Charlie’s food truck is the one 👌🏼 first time i tried it was on holiday/vacation in Florida, we had been staying in the Disney hotel and had the meal plan, the wife wanted to shopping and that’s where I seen the food truck. Evertime we go now I’m like are we gong shopping 😂 I don’t think there is law here on plastic straws, just most place have made the change. Disney implemented it about 8 years ago, in that humidity and trying to got a drink from a paper straw 🥵 Welcome to Glasgow guys 🏴 I will need to try Lunch, I have never been and I’m only a couple of miles away. A standalone beef burger without a bun is also kind of a thing in Scotland, also in conteinental Europe, I don't think it's at all common in the rest of the UK, so that gets even more confusing xD Plastic straws are fine if they bought in a huge amount of stock before the law changed and are still using them. Mexican coke is good, but my favourite is the Northern Irish UK coke, not the Uxbridge stuff. The Northern Irish Fanta is also noticeably nicer but they also recently improved the GB stuff and it actually taste of orange now.

Just the meat part of a burger here in the UK would be called a beef burger, although it does get confusing when you put it in a burger bun it becomes a hamburger, but if you were in a regular café here rather than any form of burger place and you asked for a chicken sandwich, they would think that you meant chicken meat between two slices or regular, square or strictly speaking closer to rectangular shaped bread.
