Villains that have a strong sense of honor are my favorite type of villains, which is probably why Wamuu is one of my favorite Battle Tendency characters, the other one being Joseph. I feel like Wamuu is a more developed version of Bruford from Phantom Blood. (Who else remembers the minor villains from Part 1?) In my opinion, Wamuu was far more developed as a character than Esidisi or Kars, and I wish that either of them had the same amount of depth as him; however, I also feel like there were many aspects of Wamuu's character that could've been expanded upon, and I would've liked to see more of his origins.

Sure, Joseph never truly fought 'fairly' or 'evenly' with the Pillar Men - he played plenty of tactics that would typically be seen as underhanded and wrong. However, when it comes to what Kars did, never did Joseph ever rely on someone coming in to save him. Not only this, he sure as hell didn't waste the life of a human (vampire, in this case) by throwing them into the way of an attack and forcing them to die for you to attain victory. He never threw Ceasar into an attack that was meant for him. Which is truly what makes Kars' actions a greater dishonor against Wamuu's memories than anything Joseph did.

I feel like Wamuu partially lived on in Polnareff. Polnareff started off as a "villain", of course, but he had a sense of honor and pageantry in his fight with Avdol. Furthermore, he was also defeated by fatal burning - and he also refused to accept pity. Of course, Polnareff's Stand was Chariot - a callback to Wamuu's obvious thing for chariot racing? Polnareff can swirl his sword to generate/manipulate wind. And he has a dangerous but risky final attack. Of the Stardust Crusaders, Polnareff is definitely the warrior - he alone spent years honing his skills with obsessive focus. And I feel like Polnareff and Wamuu kind of have similar hair going on, maybe.

Imagine if Wammu became a good guy and survived Part 2

Christian Pacle, it's your lucky day pal. I've been working on a sort of that fanfic that has Wamuu survive part 2. What I have so far is that in this alternate universe Wamuu still has energy as a head so he doesn't die, but it isn't enough to completely regen his body. He kinda just lays there, listening to what happens afterwards. (Everyone thought he was dead) Kars cheating still occurs and his downfall is still the same. It isn't until Joseph is in the hospital (At least I think he was in one) until things get different. A few days after Joseph arrives, Wamuu shows up. Joseph being obviously shocked and scared tries to appeal to Wamuu's honor, saying that Wamuu wouldn't kill a injured man. Especially one who can challenge him. Wamuu calms Joseph, assuring him that he isn't here to cause any harm. It takes some time but Joseph eventually calms down, asking how Wamuu survived. Wamuu explains that he had mustered enough strength to start regening his body after everyone left the coloseme. After that he went to look for Kars, seeing if he was still alive. Finding no traces, he was certain that Joseph must have killed him. Wamuu is saddened by this, he takes a moment to sit and just respect Kars for everything he has done. After this is done, he looks for Joseph and eventually ends up at the hospital. Joseph then asks, " Well, if you aren't going to kill me why are you here? " Wamuu answers " I want to know what happened to Kars, how did you defeat him? " So Joseph explains what happened and at the end Wamuu remarks " At least he got what he wanted, I hope he remains safe in space. " Wamuu knows Kars is alive and he also knows he's never going to return. With no one to follow, no motives he wants to peruse, Wamuu stays at the hospital with Joseph. The two of them talk and shares stories, one of which intrigues Wamuu. It is the story of Joseph's grandfather, Jonathan (in this alt universe Joseph knows a lot more about Part 1) and after hearing it Wamuu finds respect and honor for him even though they have never met. After Joseph is fully healed he asks Wamuu what is he going to do now, will he peruse him at some point. Wamuu shakes his head " No. " he replies. " No, I think I'd like to follow and protect you Joseph. There is no one else out there I can look up towards too, no worthy people to fight besides you. I have no desire to destroy humanity, I'm sure you would just stop me again if I tried. You have beat me, ACDC (or Esidesi), and Kars in battle I look up to you out of respect and honor. And it isn't just you, it's the entire Joestar bloodline. " Joseph doesn't know what to say, is he really going to have a pillarman bodyguard? And what is he going to eat? He surely can't go eating people. Joseph has all these thoughts in his head but eventually agrees. He respects Wamuu the same way Wamuu respects Joseph. So, Wamuu officially becomes Joseph's protector/bodyguard. The whole comedic funeral gag takes place but with Wamuu, adding more comedy I would think. Part 2.5 Wamuu now protects all of Joseph's family. He has his own room in Joseph's house equipped with a stone wall so Wamuu can rest/sleep when he has nothing else to do. He's in the stone wall most of the time as Joseph's life was peaceful until Part 3. Holly was taught that Wamuu was a special friend of Joseph's and Wamuu became Holly's full-time bodyguard once he realised Joseph and Susie didn't need any protection. Wamuu's attire changes to better suit the world since he is often in public with the Joestars, being able to do so thanks to Speedwagon Industires making him immune to the sun for extended periods of time. Speedwagon industries has also found a better way to feed Wamuu. His attire isn't completely rid of his Aztec style of clothing, it still looks odd but isn't enough for people to freak out over it. Lastly, I think Wamuu would go on vacations with the Joestars and become a deep and entrusted friend over a period of time. Part 3 All I have so far is that Wamuu replaces Avdol in the beginning. Avdol is still in the series but he appears in the helicopter with Iggy. (At least that's my idea. ) Now, Wamuu has a stand but, it isn't a normal stand. It's name is Honor to represent Wamuu. It's called this because it forces any worthy opponent Wamuu fights to keep fighting Wamuu until they die or Wamuu dies. Anyone who tries to run away will be teleported infront of Wamuu, any dirty attacks will not affect Wamuu. The stand can instantly tell if an opponent is worthy or not and only activates when Wamuu tells it. This is so the stand doesn't pull people such as Joseph or Jotaro into battle. His last ability is full immunity of the sun so that Wamuu can fight anyone, anywhere, at any time I think the stand would attach to somewhere on Wamuu just to show off his honor and ironically it would be his biggest weakness. As with the fact Wamuu can never stop fighting until he or his opponent dies. I may have to change this idea as Part 3 stand users could make it difficult. However, I like the idea. It represents what Wamuu is about and doesn't give him any new, special powers. Wamuu wouldn't a stand fighting for him, he would want a stand that can help him fight. Wamuu is already smart, strong, and has a unique ability to begin with. Why would you give him a fighting stand when the guy can already fight you know. Sadly, I'm probably going to have Wamuu die in part 3. I know he could maybe fit into part 4, and perhaps replace Polnareff in part 5 but I feel like he would get way too much spotlight. I'm thinking of him sacrificing himself to Vanilla Ice like Avdol did or maybe replacing Kakyoin in the fight with DIO. It would be a completely different fight and it would be neat if Wamuu remembered the story of Jonathan and maybe tried to avenge him or something. Just for DIO to use the world and talk about how stupid it is that Wamuu is trying to avenge someone he never even knew just because of honor. Of course, Wamuu would figure out the ability of the world out since he is smart. I might have to still nerf Wamuu though, I know stands are like a variation of hamon so maybe they won't get vaporized when they touch Wamuu and maybe they can do damage to him. But, he still seems pretty OP for part 3. I'll have to make new antagonists for him to fight. (Even though earlier I said Part 3 stands might be too strong lol. ) I think that's all I have to say for part 3. Well, random person I don't know why I typed all of this. I'm extremely tired but uh, I hope you read this and get a feeling of happiness or something because Wamuu temporally lives on in my alt. Universe. I hope you can add any improvements and tell me what you think of his stand, I think it's unique and really suits Wamuu. I tried to make it weaker by making it be attached to Wamuu so he has to be careful when fighting but maybe that isn't enough. But uh, you're welcome?
