People shouldn't despair if their child has autism because autism can give a person traits that help one to practice Islam such as finding it difficult to lie or cheat; many autistic people have good memories and attention to detail, so they can easily memorise Qur'an and hadiths. If you look at it from an Islamic point of view, even if your child is severely disabled, there are a lot of sins that they can't do; so, overall their tests might be smaller than the tests that normal children go through.

Autism is not anything you need to cure: some comments are really nasty. Your child, especially an autistic one has feelings - as an Autistic person myself, yes it’s been a struggle - the hardest part of life is people giving up on me and being misunderstood by people who could show their love by studying my neurodivergent life - instead of complaining about your hardships of dealing with us, try and understand things from our view as many of us mask our whole lives trying to bring you all ease as much as possible. Those who make us seem a burden do not deserve us. Salaam.

Asalamu alaykum, as a mother of a autistic child myself I agree and I don’t think many are educated on the matter. Yes Allah has the cure for everything the brother mentioned but also like you said. Autism just means you work differently to me. Alhamdulilah me and my family have take. The time to educate ourselves and use the relevant information mixed with the knowledge of the Quran and the sunnah. Thank you for sharing and I hope you are in a better position. 🧡🤲

@@kashifalvi4000 take this as a test to get closer to Allah make lots of dua and give charity and with time slowly but surely Allah will make it easy for you're son to communicate, keep an eye on the school he goes to that they are giving him speech therapy session it may take time and he might just start off with just few words and find it difficult to talk in sentences but it will increase by the will of Allah just a matter of time let him work in his own paste. There's many ways like using makaton to help communicate schools would usually use this method to communicate and support his speech but it's also a good idea to take on these techniques at home and support him, may Allah make it easy for him.
