This year, as a Bama Fan, I’ve been told I’m a masochistic Bama fan because I thoroughly enjoy watching my team almost get beat. I enjoy it even more when we find a way to get that W. I didn’t expect us to be so dominant this year because Coach Saban leaving, of all the top players who transferred out like Isiah Bonds to Texas or Caleb Downs to Ohio State, all the parity….This is the first year with Coach Deboer. I’m going to be realistic for now on and not live in delulu that we will win it all perspective. If we win ugly, I’m happy either way. A W is a W.

I like Kalen DeBoer. He deserves a little time to work his plan for the team. However, what I don't like is the fact that our 4 and 5 star players are being outplayed and out hustled by 2 and 3 star players during these last two games. Players look like they are giving 60 to 70% instead of 100%. Discipline is nowhere in sight and stupid penalties are costing this team big time. Our defense is downright sleeping on a lot of plays, especially the secondary. No pressure on the QB giving them all day to make plays. The first three games, I thought both sides of the team played with intensity and coaching looked on target. These last two games look like we threw all that out the door! ROLL TIDE!

I’ll remind him and everyone else how around this time last year he said Alabama absolutely wasn’t going to the sec championship game. People underestimate South Carolina. This team pushed LSU to brink, blew out Kentucky, who the week after was 1 point away from beating Georgia and the only loss that Ole miss had at the time. It's very easy for a us to say this team should beat this team but we don't see the work and preparation these guy take week by week. Do Alabama have work to do? absolutely, but no team this year has looked completely dominant other than Texas, which will have they first test against Georgia. (I know they played a highly ranked Michigan but we all knew Michigan wasn't the team from last year.)
@jsigur15715 сағат бұрын
Texas A&M may have the best chance to beat Texas before the playoffs. The way GA is playing, I have trouble believing Ga can make the Texas game a nail biter
@HelmsRupture9 сағат бұрын
Yeah that will be a rough game. Classic rivalry too.

For yall saying defense they saved the game the only flaw was not getting off field on 3rd down. They forced 4 turnovers, 4 sacks, 7 tfl no one is talking that. The scheme 4-2-5 is taking talented defensive players out of what they can do. If Bama ran 4-3 it would help tremendously. Offense put them in bad positions. They played well forcing 2 punts and to on SC first 3 drives(the offense scored only once). Then they give up a TD on a 4th and 9 and following possession force a fumble after the Milroe safety. Milroe immediately throws a INT and SC gets a FG to end half. To open up 2nd half run defense was bad SC drive and defense had chance to get off field on 3rd and 6 & 3rd and 15 and 3 3rd and short result SC takes lead. Offense goes out and punts, Bama forces punt Milroe throws another INT and defense forces another fumble. Bama scored off the TO and they stop SC drive with the miss FG. Offense scores again what should put game away but not getting 3rd down stop and a chunk play along with face mask and SC gets the 30 yd touchdown you will give up those plays 9/10 when a wr is 6”5 240 pounds. Special teams blunder the onside and defense gets back on field and forces GW int. So please stop the harassing of D. Yes their are problems just like every other team has in the country, yes this is not Sabans defense (he is gone get over it we had 17 great seasons but this is a new era). Support the team and be glad Bama won! Its 6 games into a new era and the team is 5-1 jeeez!! Who gets mad at wins no matter how they come.

Texas looks beatable. OU made the TX offense look very mid. GA, Bama, LSU maybe Aggies would give TX all they can handle.
@texasshaolin838 сағат бұрын
Texas is beatable....but Georgia, Bama and LSU are way more beatable than Texas. Period.
@Allen-hg2hu7 сағат бұрын
Everyone is beatable any given Saturday, just ask Bama, and Tennessee. The great teams overcome adversity, and finish. So far Texas has done that, and deserves the number 1 ranking. Texas gets up for big games, they won't come out flat against Georgia, they were looking ahead a little I think to Georgia, but they will never admit it. The only rust on Texas was on Quinn,who was out almost a month. Any quarterback thrown into a huge rivalry game as their first game back from injury will have some rust initially. They played one bad quarter and got it together. The haters don't talk about how both Bama and Georgia both had games they started slow in. Texas is no different.
@jessesewell79227 сағат бұрын
@@Allen-hg2hu Texas deserves their ranking. All I’m saying is OU has a very solid defense and they made Texas look human. If OU had an effective offense they could at least have made it respectable, maybe 34 to 20 or so, who knows. OU is not a top SEC defense. They are good but they are not Georgia or Bama.

How come sports pundits never have to answer for all their overblown takes early in the season? Why is it that when a college football coach does something dumb, we continuously criticize them them, but when one of these ESPN analysts makes a stupid comment and then goes back on it two weeks later, they don’t have to eat crow? It blows my mind how they wanna give an award for the best team in the first half of the season. Who cares? play the game on the field.

It is stunning to me that you "experts" were proclaiming Bama as unbeatable after the Georgia game. Now they won't win again and DeBoer is done. They haven't played well over the last 2 games yet, they have 1 loss as does every other team in the SEC aside from Texas. Finebaum is ridiculous.

“Milroe is not throw the ball away in the end zone and making it a safety [under Saban]” Uhhh dude I love Saban and Milroe, but Milroe ran 15 yards straight backwards to take an unholy sack once every five plays last year. Milroe has improved RADICALLY this year. Stop the soundbite BS, man.

Things get a lot easier to understand if you admit that Carolina has a top 3 SEC defense. No team has been as clearly victimized by bad officiating as SC. The MS game was a disgrace. The scumbag crew working that game refused, flat refused to call holding on MS. They completely negated the SC pass rush.
