Great work, but you should slow down, you go too fast when it comes to little changes during the music and that's exactly where you need to explain it slowy and carefully

You can see the music in the tabulature - bar 1. You start this chord with the middle finger and the ring finger, playing the melody on the 1st empty string, then you add your little finger to the second fret. In the second bar transition, you lift up your middle finger and ring finger and slide with your little finger to the third fret. During this movement, you place your middle finger on the 4th string. The main point of your focus in this transition should be your little finger because it stays on the string and provides stability to your hand. Does it help? :)

Absolutely stunning. Just bought myself an acoustic guitar after many years without playing. Love this song, my favourite from Kaleo’s album. I may be being stupid, but didn’t you miss out the intro? Quick advice while learning: after you learn through hammering the chord youll have to shuffle your fingers and change your regular finger play for like next 3 chords and then youll get back to normal pattern

Thanks man, finger picking is a very complex skill set. It is definitely not only just the "feel". Once you understand the basic foundation everything becomes much easier. I am creating a new course for people who want to understand finger picking and improve their skills. Stay tuned. I think in stroke 28 (06:55) there's an error in the video and also in the pdf. The first finger stays longer on 1 after the hammeron then noted. H: 0-1----1-------0------- G: ------0-------------0---- Regards - Timo

Wonderful video, the only thing is that you didn’t show when there was a new picking pattern, or show us what the new pattern was. Like at 7:32 with the Am7, I would have appreciated if you went over the different pattern instead of having to just piece it together from the tabs. Or just mention that it changes, at least

At 7:23, either there's a mistake on the tab and there's a 0 written instead of a 1 on the B string (after the hammer-on), either you're playing a 1 instead of 0. Good work still, thank you!

Bro this is great but like you spent a lot in the intro wich is fairly simple and then when you get to the verse that has a lot of small changes in the cords and more important, in the picking, you speed up and give those for granted.
