The forest Vaglaskógur is 20 minutes east from where I live in Northern Iceland and the name of the song means "Spring in Vaglaskógur forest". The video is also so beautiful along with the song, just normal Icelandic people doing their thing and the landscapes as well. Maybe for more rock vibe try their song "No good"

It's a ballad but he holds a note at the end that goes on forever. Cover of “Bang Bang” - esp the Kaleo “Bang Bang” (Cher cover) Live at Sirius XM, The Spectrum. He sounds just as good, or better, live. No Good is a fun, faster rock song.

Their only Icelandic cover/song. An evergreen song everyone knows. Kaleo revived it for a new generation and were at the same moment building a fan base with their own stuff. I think they do this song at every concert. Way down we go, official or volcano version show how good a singer he is.

thx for this reaction. LOVE Kaleo .. and the lead singer's voice and range is amazing! Try 'No Good' to hear him really rock, or "Hot Blood". Both were off their 1st album. I'd love to hear you react to a new single of theirs - "Break My Baby" - sort of a slower rock/ funky beat .. but still get to hear that great voice. His cover of Bang, Bang is also amazing. Incredible control and emotion and then really lets loose at the end. Liked your reaction a lot .... will check back!

There is another version of the video which is older (same song though) which I can also recommend. You should be able to find it on KZbin. This song made Kaleo popular in their homecountry Iceland. Kaleos version is though a cover of one of Icelands most popular radio songs for decades - they didn't write the music ;)
