Love it, that square barrel would be highly useful when stabilising the shot when using an impromptu rest in the field.

Right handed and right eyed I would favour transferring the cocking lever to the left for that very reason of not taking your eye off target. It looks so robust provided the seals hold it should last a lifetime. Excellent Czech manufacturing.

If you like these you need to try the Agt range, I have the Vulcan2 and it beats anything I’ve had from Fx, and anything I’ve shot, better than a cricket

Its really quite something to see these manufacturers producing guns with such accuracy as the weirachs..the engineering into these guns now are getting harder to separate.. making it harder to choose just one ! All are extremely accurate..

I had the .177 in this which I had after the Edgun Lelya. The Lelya clunky cocking motion just got to me and I can say from experience this is a much better gun and more accurate as it has the CZ barrel!

I saw that you pulled a ratterit looked like a 2240 or a 1377 i have both and put stocks on them and scopes later on plan on putting 24 inch barrels in nova scotia canada most are detuned to 495 ft per second or a pal lisence is required the 1377 in the us is 600 ft per second in canada 495 ft per second the the port between the barrel and valve is reduced...if you order one its un restricted i have a pal and aquision. love shooting targets at the range but love pellet guns im 67 had my first .177piston at 13 and love your vedios

11.91 Ft/Lb is a bit high for a 15.89 grain pellet. If you use a JSB Heavy at 18.13 grain, that would almost certainly put it over the sub 12 Ft/Lb limit. That airgun needs tuning down to around 11.5 Ft/Lb with that Jumbo pellet.

Hi Andy Firstly Happy new year to all at AAR A bit different from the usual shaped bullpups, i like the mag's ×2 and the 14 round count, the range at 40 yrds proved very positive, part 2 should be interesting, looking forward to that, Vector optics seem to have hit the market running and yards ahead of the medium range of scopes, proving popular as you had problems trying to aquire a larger one. Overall you hit it on the nail, watch this space Take care , Stay safe, keep it lit.👍 my friend.

In a year with not much too look forward too I have found this channel and Your panache for the subject of air rifles to be probably some of the best stress relief going ( short of shooting or fishing in person, which has been difficult for everybody) I can't thank You enough for the pleasure I have derived from Your shows . I wouldn't really say that Kalibrgun were one of the lesser known/smaller brands trying to fight their way into the market ( or words to that effect ); they are well established and their prices are right in line with all the other big players- ~£1200 for the Argus competes directly with anything FX, AA, Daystate etc etc is selling. It does have some interesting styling though, I'll give you that...

Happy New Year Guys, I’m Pretty sure I had the last Vector 6-24x44FFP from vector air :) awesome scope. I have you to thank for the recommendation. The first thing I noticed was the square cheek rest, an updated version or after market one would have to be added for me. I can appreciate the uniqueness of this gun, not my taste however can’t help but feel it was inspired by the FX Wildcat. Not a bad thing.

Accurate and well designed but I thought the wood, particularly the chequering, looked poor and the general assembly not quite top notch, my biggest surprise was the price, for some reason I expected it to be less.

The only thing I dont like about the Argus is that the back of the trigger guard is very sharp/pointy and too close to the grip, It will pinch your index finger knuckle If you have bigger hands. Forget about wearing gloves.

@@rhysholley8289 Thanks. Yes that is pathetic, but I think I can top it. Here in the USA in my state, New Jersey, I can purchase almost any rifle I want, even a 50 cal. But I can’t purchase a “sling shot” (catapult), they are totally illegal by law. Talk about ridiculous.

So anyone have this gun? Thoughts, rants or trash talk? Im looking at a couple Kalib models and this one seem to be fairly elusive as far as reviews, info, tests, etc. The newer tactical 45 seems nice but it may be a bit bulky? The mini carbine looks nice but isn't nearly as compact as this. The regular cricket II pups in the shorty Ive found loads of info on. If you haven't noticed the trend, I'm really wanting something nice and compact for my next airgun. No real preference on whether is a full bullpup or ultra short carbine. Just want to get something i can toss in a duffle bag or in the pax seat or walk around the woods with. It also has to have a threaded barrel or at least some way to attach a quality Mod/Supp for the backyard range. I was looking at the Leshiy 2 as well but man the price on those have not budged and the accessories are legit highway robbery. Almost to the point its turned me off from them. And I love my leshiy classic. :(
