Hi interesting stuff you teach here. All form of marital art are great. I did study kali when I lived in the Philippines small village out side of Bayambang in Pangasinan. What I learn there is totally different. Basically one form, short sword and dagger. Also Guru taught a dance style form with two sticks. I also study a long staff made out of thin bamboo. Everything was in dance style we practice with a drummer beats and rhythm with fluidity. Of course we did drills but it was done in private. Just different not bad just different.

This is awesome! Thanks for sharing the knowledge on youtube. A buddy referred a method to me so I have been practicing weapon control by training with a wooden cylinder type thing in front of me. I pull my strike just before it hits the "training dummy" does anyone else use this method? Is it useful?

If you do this without a stick in your hand, you've got some kick ass dance moves.

Yes. So use settings cog bottom right of screen and choose 1/2 or 1/4 speed setting, turn sound lower, and watch and practise from that, skip back any of the drills that require 2nd 3rd 4th playing until you get them "down". With patience, you will work the drills out.
