Lipi is talking about Telugu language and diction, Ashwathama is from mahabarata he is the onky person who can speak good telugu, If you neatly observe, all the other people, Their languages and slangs are different, they wantdeley done it, beacuse it is 800 years away from now in the future, local langauages or the diction would not be the same, In kashi the city which the movie refers to it has multi cultural base, We see people from asia, Africa, Whites and all the religions combined and langauages combined, So i don't think it would same as the language we speak now,.

Lipi: do you about a book in which each poem tells story of Ramayan ( from front) and Mahabharat (from end of every poem) ... Raghava-yadaviyam by Venkatadhvari (17th cent.) is an “anuloma-viloma kavya” that narrates the story of Rama. But the Shlokas read in the reverse relate an adventure of Shri Krishna. Given below is an extract on “Raghava Yadaviyam” from “Pride of India” published by Samskrita Bharati, Bangalore. There is a recent work (17th century AD) of the name Raghava Yadaviyam. The name is intriguing. Raghava refers to the one born in Raghu-kula viz. Rama the protagonist of the epic Ramayana. Yadava refers to the one born in the Yadu-kula, Krishna, the protagonist of the other epic Mahabharata. The 30 slokas in the work tell the story of Rama, obviously very briefly, justifying the first part of the name. Why the second part of the name - Yadaviyam? These slokas, if read in the reverse, letter by letter, narrate an episode from the life of Lord Krishna - of bringing parijata tree from the heavens to the earth. This interesting though brief work - shows that verbal ingenuity of the composer Arasanpalai Venkitacharya (also known as Venkatadhvari) and also - proves the encryption capability of the Sanskrit language. Here is a random sloka from the text. वन्देऽहं देवं तं श्रीतं रन्तारं कालं भासा यः । रामो रामाधीराप्यागो लीलामारायोध्ये वासे ॥ “I pay my obeisance to Lord Shri Rama, who with his heart pining for Sita, travelled across the Sahyadri Hills and returned to Ayodhya after killing Ravana and sported with his consort, Sita, in Ayodhya for a long time.” In reverse सेवाध्येयो रामालाली गोप्याराधी मारामोरा । यस्साभालंकारं तारं तं श्रीतं वन्देहं देवं ॥ “I bow to Lord Shri Krishna, whose chest is the sporting resort of Shri Lakshmi;who is fit to be contemplated through penance and sacrifice, who fondles Rukmani and his other consorts and who is worshipped by the gopis, and who is decked with jewels radiating splendour.”

Nice podcasts guys, I watched this movie two times and I just loved it😄. After a long time I can see Prabhas doing bhairava character with ease. I agree with Kavya, it has it’s flaws but a well made film. My favorite scene is also definitely the interval scene, it gave me goosebumps and I was surprised to see in the scene that the amount of parallels one can draw from our Indian epics. I have to admit, Nag Ashwin is a true genius🫡. I mean, just imagine that you are directing the first complete sci-fi film in India which involves heavy vfx, the amount of stuff that can go wrong is humongous . I don’t have to tell anyone, just look at Adipurush 😅.

sadly no one in the panel spoke about the movie opening scene in Kurukshetra between Lord Krishna and Ashwadhama it literally transported us to the battle ground , i agree 1st half was pacing slow for an hour and also has few flaws , but for people who had read all volumes of Mahabharat its an adrenaline rush throughout the movie , another sad part is panel is commenting without proper research on Mahabharat, Pandavas do have descendants, whole Bhagavatam is Sukha Maharshi's narration to Parikshit who is grandson of Arjuna, however happy you guys have appreciated our Telugu movies reaching heights and Lipi being very particular about Telugu language , where as we in India are forgetting the language and culture 👍

As you saying about copy it may be inspiration no copy because even bahubali has some copy scenes You mentioned about how ashwathama cant pull sumati then you can see he has no crt hold on her hand please try to see properly About remuneration that is for first part with 60 percent 2nd part shooting And about music ya nag ashwin said that music may be better he said he keep in mind in that about next time and about santhosh naryan he gave about 60 background score but nagi kept it for future parts Yes the movie is dragging its took time to create world building, come on guys it indian first scifi movie it takes time to gain experience how to execute it But second half is mind blowing There so many loops like about charecter of dq,other immortals ,why karna in kaliyug,why gandiva is with kali,who is kalki,how story moves,who train kalki,how other immortals join kalki.so the content is on may be you can expect more from this universe Lippi saying amitabh talks more telugu than prabhas akka he is playing ashwathama who is from back in history who talks pure telugu as you know prabhas playing future man who uses english in middle,after prabhas shown character of karna he uses pure telugu Karna shown in this has getting redemption like he walked in adharma now he may getting chance to walk in dharma path or helping kalki to wash his previous acts And you can see pandava weapons getting hand to evil so may kali get power from pandava weapons

Pandavas have descendant, Ashwathama will try to kill the Uttara baby but krishna will save him using his powers and named him Parikshit the last descendant of Pandava and last king of Dwapara yugam, then Kali yugam has started.

I have two theories which may or may not be accurate.. 1) we saw prabhas as karna from ashwathamas point of view because ashwathama believed that the person who can control the stick he is carrying is karna...so even though he fought with prabhas two times but he only believed that prabhas is karna after he controlled the stick....so prabhas is karna may completely not be confirmed 2) in our puranas whenever lord Vishnu came to this world parallelly lord Shiva also came...like Rama and Hanuman, krishna and balaram...so here in kaliyug it is Kaliki along with Shiva ... moreover prabhas name is bhairava in this movie so he may lord Shiva who came to earth and waiting for Vishnu's birth once again... That is the reason why he may be able to control the stick which ashwathama might have thought him as karna...

Even though ashwatthama was a great warrior but he couldn't lift his own chariot at the time of war and exactly can't get from the end trap. When ashwatthama was in trouble with arjuna literally karma came to save ashwa. That's exactly the point nagi took to design the whole battle at the end. And also most of the people have doubts about how karma will rebirth for that at the start of prabhas intro it starts song with Krishna's words and that would be metaphor for rebirth (For those who are born, death is inevitable and for those who die, birth is inevitable.)

6:07 #Prabhas21 is not the fixed title. Any movie in our telugu industry or almost indian cinema addresses the "untitled movie" with Lead actor(hero) movie number. For example, Mahesh Babu and SS rajamouli movie script not finished, shooting not started and mainly not titled till now but it is addressed as #SSMB29(Superstar Mahesh Babu 29th film) which is not at all a fixed title. Untitled movies are addressed with the Lead actor movie number. (Yeah ..yeah .. I heard you, this is the problem with a patriarchal society with its deep rooted misogyny 😂😂)

After seeing this movie FDFS, read about Ashwatthama and Karna potrayal in Vyasa Mahabharat....not sure how they are portrayed in major movies as 'hero'ish. The movie was entertaining and visually awesome, but not sure how Karna was given that hype by Nag Ashwin🙆‍♂️

What I meant to say is that I wish Karna wasn't given hype and the hero of the movie, Prabhas, didn't play the part as Karna. In Vyasa Mahabharat, Karna was never given hype by Lord Sri Krishna, and if he's portrayed as he is in the epic, the climax episode never happened at all, and Karna got defeated by Arjun multiple times.

One of the pod caster was complaining that Manas was pressing single button and different different weapons come out which sounded silly for her. Just try to think the same happening in Mahabharatha war, no warior was shown carrying tons and tons of arrows during the war, they all appear with a spell in mind, so if that yug was in that model imagine we are talking about 2898 AD how advanced the AI would have been. Hope this clarifies, but one thing despite of the fact that this movie from Nagi is nowhere near match with his previous 2 films when we talk about romance or emotions, yet you pod casters talked about Kalki, kudos for you for all for this effort, enjoyed watching it, felt different, especially silent one... Lipi..i think she is multi tasking during the discussion... lastly please dont compare Nagi with Rajamouli...Rajamoili plays with emotions thats his strength...

Fully agree with Kavya here. Looks like the filmmakers were so excited with their novel idea but didn’t put any effort in converting into a meaningful film. They had some cool ideas as cameos and fillers but the movie lacked the wholesome feeling. At the end I didn’t feel like I watched a complete film. At this point, we all understand there’s no need for the makers to do Part 2 or cinematic universe for any of our Telugu films except to mint money. There’s no wrong in a sequel if there’s really big story to be told. Finally, I’m glad you guys loved Jathiratnalu. Please do a podcast on that movie. My other recommendation is C/o Kancharapalem.

There are few flaws in your review: 1) Ashwathama is strong but it doesn't mean future technology is not strong. The technology can't completely stop him but it can slow him down. 2) For future he "copied" from other movies sure. But what he copied is generic things from other movies. We dont have to show that people walk upside down.

Is it just me or you guys too felt the same? - The girl named 'Lipi' was trying to Iook too COOL by passing some weird opinions. Two points to say so: 1. At 33:00 mins - she said the following a. Extremely slow b. drag.. drag.. drag c. The whole movie could be trimmed to a 1 hour long Bro.. seriously? I know that you want to look cool but by bragging at this level? Use your common sense. We all agree that there are some unnecessary scenes which may be around 15-20 mins or max 30 mins but you want to trim almost 2 hrs? Are you kidding me?? Felt too silly looking at you 2. At 43:00 mins - After the success of Bahubali, Nag Ashwin just created a movie with the successful formula of it by copying some scenes from hollywood, inspired vfx and graphics from Bahubali and some Indian storyline. Bro - are you mad or what? Is your brain is braining?? And the other is supporting her. If it was that simple, why even after 6-7 yrs of Bahubali not a single came close to what the impact it created? Have you ever heard of Ponniyan Selvan, Brahmastra, Robo 2.0, etc.,? We just stopped watching right away here. Anyhow, I agree with 50-60% of the points you guys mentioned. @@saiswaroop1826 yes bro, I did not like the fact that the director took a lot of inspiration from hollywood to build the world, you can get a ton of variation even if you look at ai art, in hollywood to build the world, they take a look at the works of artists, a lot of them who make art with their imagination and build some thing original (dune is way to different from star wars even though starwars take a lot of inspiration from due, yes dune is orginal and starwars is inspired), even in india, there are tons of artists who picture a different version of dystopian future, he could have consulted to those works, take the movie hanuman for example, its a fictional village which is completely inspired from indian roots, even by comparing indian standards, kalki is bad, that is my opinion and I have the right to express my opinion
