Even if it's directed at all fans, it still gives a confidence boost because nice things always make us happier and feel better. In my town there is a train that is part of the transit system. During it's normal route it goes through this super loud tunnel and you can't hear anything. I was with a couple of friends and about half way through the tunnel my buddy starts pretending to talk to me. He was being expressive and animated and saying nothing. Until we exited the tunnel when the words "and then I said, Well if it's your lobster, what's it doing in MY ass?" Came out of his mouth at a volume that can only be described as concerning.
