Pretty sure the birdcage/hoop skirt doesn’t have leg holes - your legs are supposed to go in the middle, so the whole thing sits higher and the “legs” of the cage sit on either side of your hips….but it was fun to watch!

Just a heads up! For finding cameras in hotel rooms, just turn all the lights off and open the camera on your phone. Your phone's camera can pick up infra-red light. That pillow you had is an inflatable cervical correction pillow. Chiropractors sell them. They definitely work. It relieves pressure off the cervical spine. While a bit uncomfortable, they can relieve tension migraines. I have one. Use it for 20 mins and it pushes your head and holds it up off the spinal cord for a bit.

Those were panniers , not a crinoline, the only time they were worn in the 19th century was in Queen Charlotte‘s court, but otherwise they were a product of the 1700s and produce a wide hip look whereas a crinoline was only invented in the mid 1800’s

They're usually air mailed, so they do come in varying condition. I've had some come perfectly untouched, and other smashed like Kris had. Just depends on how the package handlers treat it. Sometimes they just hurl all your packages into the plane undercarriage like rocks and other times they pack them precisely.

Hey, I just wanted to share on this video, because Kris has helped me through one of my darkest times, that I am still struggling with. I would also like to see if any of y'all have gone through anything like this So I became insecure ab my body and thought that I was super fat from when I was ab 7 or 8. The reason being tbag one of the nicest boys who I knew moved away and we were "dating" and then he told me that he didn't like me anymore bc he had found a girl at his new school who was and I quote "less overweight than you" the thing is, I wasn't overweight bc I went to the doctors a bit after that. At that time I was tall for my age and I had assets. So according to all that also accounting for the fact that my hair is ab 2lbs, I was a normal weight for my age. My brother who was ab 20lbs lighter was considered overweight bc he was shorter and didn't have assets or long hair. That made me feel even more overweight than I already thought I was and that has stayed with me. It didn't get super bad untill 5th grade when I had that narcissistic friend who would call me fat and ugly all the time, and it got super bad. Like to the point where I litterly skipped breakfast most days. Thing is I never recovered from that and so during all that yr I would skip breakfast and sometimes lunch. Therefor my body built a tolorance to not eating a lot, and I already had a tolerance for not drinking water so that ain't a good combo. Anyway, I still haven't recovered from that so I'm rlly willing to give up lunch if I feel more insecure that day, hence the reason that I sometimes give ppl my lunch. Like I still usually don't have breakfast and when someone asks I just pass it off as not having time. Which is also y I don't usually feel hungry. So that's fun!! It's kinda sad bc I'll think tbag I'm doing good then suddenly one day I don't feel like eating bc I feel fat Some days I still give up lunch and almost everyday I don't eat breakfast. On most Saturdays I don't eat till ab 3pm bc I don't feel hungry till then. Thanks for listening/reading my rant. Kmk is one of the saving graves in my life as watching her videos have given me laughs when I feel like crying.

Hey Kris, I also suffer from chronic migraines. My psychiatrist prescribed a medication called Nortriptyline that's been really helping me. I haven't noticed any side effects and have been taking it for about 5 months now. It doesn't block every migraine, but I've had a lot less of them, and the intensity of them has been reduced. Anyways, I love your content, you're fabulous, keep it up (but don't burn yourself out!) 😊

1:11 - That would be 18th century, babe, think early Marie Antoinette - you're not generally meant to put your legs into it, though. They're supposed to sit on the outside of your hips and poof out REALLY far, and its meant to be cinched around your natural waist over an 18th century style corset, which is called a pair of stays (not the tight-lacing kind). There would also be a chemise under that so it wouldn't be touching bare skin
