Tried as you said ..it was very tasty and crispy for some time..after few hours,the crispness lost and became soft..what could be the reason Mam?

Thanks for sharing, You could have added bit more water while mixing the flour, which could cause this issue. Add less water while mixing such that you get crispy Thattai.

Normally i suggest to use this immediately after grinding. If you want to store, then you can grind it and keep it. But before using it, dry roast it once, in case you are not using immediately.

For flattening THATTAI, use two thin plastic sheet, 6 inches by 6 inches size, grease with oil, place one ball dough, put on top the second plastic sheet, press THATTAI. It will be easy to remove.

It is not Uluththa mavu it is ULUNDA mavu. Uluththa means decayed. Pl correct your prounciation in future.
