I just got my system up and running, sound's amazing! when I first bought the car. It was a shitshow of wires. The previous owner disconnected everything. Left me with a cheap radio. I had no experience with radios but. I have some experience with wires, and using a multimeter. I was able to wire everything up with my new radio. I also installed a backup camera looks OEM. It's on my instagram how I did it.

Always leave slack wire , you might have to relocate that amp cuz of over heating issues , I had same problem in my integra so I moved it to behind rear seat that fold down and with windows down and air flowing problem solved!!

Yah I used to keep my amp under my rear seat for some reason and it over heated, so then I left it on top of my rear seat and never had an issue haha

Maybe.... depends how hard he runs the sub. If hes only using 1/4 of the gain like he said it will probably be ok. He also lives in a cold environment most of the year so that has effect of it too. The seat is sitting up against it which is not advised. It tells you in the amp manual what minimum area it needs around it to work well. But in the end it depends how much gain he is using. At 1/4 gain like he said it might be ok as the amp isnt working much at all.

No air flow to the amp sandwiched behind rear seat and trunk/body wall. Won't that thing overheat? Ive seen many cars mount amps to the back or rear seats because the whole trunk open air space was used to keep cool.

Dude, I have Sundown Audio SA-12D2s in a self-built 3/4" MDF box with a 6x12" Aeroport in my EJ8 Civic coupe that makes 588 whp and a Soundstream Rubicon Nano RN1.5000D 5000 watt amp and they SLAM in my trunk. I also have a Mechman 190A alternator and an Optima Yellow top battery that's been relocated to the trunk. I am currently in the process of installing Skunk 2 Tuner Stage 3 cams, Skunk 2 dual valve springs with titanium retainers, and Skunk 2 LMAs. I am also installing a Mishimoto radiator, Mishimoto black radiator hoses, and a Mishimoto 12" fan. I can't wait to degree the cams and retune it. It's already scary fast. Btw, I have a 98-00 center stereo bezel swap with a 98-00 HVAC system, a Boss 7" touchscreen, Pyle 2 way 6" speakers in the doors, OEM Infinity tweeters, and Pyle 3 way 6x9s in the rear deck. It really sounds good and is also Bluetoof.

Nice, the amp you have will do okay but if you really want to wake that sub up I'd get an amp that actually does what it's rated for and that is the correct size for that sub wattage wise

@@KalvinMalli I'm glad for that, but it doesnt happen right away. Just cut some wood and mount it in the back. It needs circulation, seen plenty of people that mount amps under seats and so on and their cars usually dont make it

800w two channel amp 2 or 4g wire anything bigger is a waste unless ya going to put a 2kw or bigger in it later. also never mount an amp behind a seat where it has no airflow, other than that not bad

That boss amp doesn't do rated power you really want to wake that skar up pick up a decent amp the skar amps are pretty cheap and do rated power and throw your door speakers on there own amp man it will be awesome and you need tighten you sub screw down more the rubber ring is just a gasket just pull it back and screw them down to the metal under that if your sub is leaking from not being tight it will sound bad that sealed box uses the pressure inside the box for tuneing so if it leaks it won't get the back pressure it needs
