Believe it or not but the trunk accessories, like the jack and wheel chocks are very rare and fairly expensive. Did your z32 come with the headlight alignment tools? Should be on opposite side of the jack. You should light up the middle 300zx between the taillights.

I might have a good idea for a video or even a couple of them. You should do a tutorial on painting and bodywork stuff, not many youtubers do this kind of thing and you’re really good at it. I’d like to try some painting on my s13 one day and would love to have a guide from my man Kalvin. Pretty sure it would get you some views too.

I did this maybe 12 years ago, guys on net back then said put tailights into the oven. I did and melted edges of light when touched the hot oven door. Burned fingers, that black goo everywhere! Did them a second time years later and used angle grinder and cut out the back & pulled out the lense that way. Glued it back up, and silicone filled the cuts. No heat involved & took less than 1/4 the time. Seeya boys from Australia! (Came off faster than bruce wiilis's hair!)

Kalvin for future reference if you preheat your oven to 400°f and then put the taillight housing in the oven for 30 seconds and take it out the lens can be separated from the housing easily

Props for using the correct lense too. Most guys get the wrong pattern and doesn't match the factory. You could have painted the inside panel silver to resemble the jspec which is chrome but anyways it came out good for sure. 👌🏼

The goo on the tails is butyl tape. It is used mainly for bolt in auto windows, like a Ford van or F150 rear window. It also long ago was used to hold in some windshields. It's gooey, and nasty to work with once warmed up.

You can disassemble your Center panel the same way you did your taillights and you can add a red strip behind the 300ZX logo. Or you can go online and order an electro illuminescent Light Panel make sure you get a red one normally they are green blue or teal. If you get a red one you can put it behind the 300ZX symbol and tap it into your brake light signal so when you hit the brakes the 300ZX logo lights up red along with your tail lights.

Or you can wire it in to the license plate light, so when you turn your lights on the logo comes on aswell 😉.
